Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage has taken another significant step in expanding its international educational cooperation. Melih İzci, a leading lecturer from the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at Cappadocia University, conducted a series of classes at our university from November 3 to 14, 2025, within the framework of the ORHUN academic exchange program and activity protocol.
This visit was effectively organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Tourism of our university. During his stay, Melih İzci enriched the educational process with not only theoretical lectures but also practical culinary sessions, gastronomic master classes, and live cooking demonstrations.
Throughout the classes, students gained extensive knowledge and hands-on skills in the principles of various national and international cuisines, modern cooking technologies, service culture, and gastronomic innovations.
The visit of Melih İzci not only enhanced the professional skills of students but also contributed to strengthening scientific and methodological cooperation between the universities.
