On September 25, 2025, at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, on the initiative of the Department for Work with Youth, Spirituality and Education, and in cooperation with the Department for Combating Crimes in the Field of Information Technologies under the Samarkand Regional Department of Internal Affairs, an educational meeting on information security and cybercrime was organized for first-year students.
At the event, specialists in this field — Captain J. Nuraliyev and Lieutenant Y. Aslamkulov — participated and presented informative lectures on urgent aspects of information security, Internet culture, prevention of cybercrimes, and enhancing the legal literacy of young people.
In addition, students were given practical recommendations on protecting personal data on social networks, being cautious against fraud and illegal information flows, and complying with modern information security requirements.
During the event, students received detailed answers to the questions that interested them. The recommendations and advice provided by the specialists served to improve the information culture of young people, protect them from cybercrimes, and foster a responsible civic position in this regard.
