The forum brought together international experts, representatives of state and public organizations, and specialists from various fields. The event focused on civil society, social partnership, youth, digital transformation, environmental initiatives and regional cooperation.

Mukhsinjon Kholmukhamedov, Rector of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, delivered a presentation titled Development of Ecotourism in Central Asia: Civic Initiatives and Regional Cooperation.

The presentation highlighted the role of ecotourism in regional development, environmental protection, local employment, healthy lifestyles and civic engagement.

It also covered the ecotourism potential of Zaamin, Chartak, Bostanlyk, Nurota, Boysun, Hissar and Omanqutan, as well as civic initiatives for developing ecological infrastructure and the use of participatory budgeting.

One of the key proposals was to establish the Central Asian Observatory for Sustainable and Ecological Tourism at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
