The event was organized for third-year part-time students of the higher education institution.During the seminar, students were provided with detailed information about how the shadow economy seriously hinders societal development, causes significant losses to the state budget, disrupts fair competition, and creates conditions for the growth of corruption. In this context, it was emphasized that it is important to cultivate a firm “intolerance” toward the shadow economy among young people, for every citizen to respect the law, and to value honest work.It was also noted that combating corruption is an integral part of this process. The connection between the shadow economy and corruption was explained, showing how one often reinforces the other. Promoting values such as honesty, transparency, and responsibility among youth, and encouraging them to take an active civic stance, was highlighted as one of the pressing tasks of today. At the end of the seminar, students’ questions were answered.
