On October 11, 2025, a practical trip was organized for the students of the ''Silk Road'' International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage to closely explore the rich historical and cultural heritage of Bukhara region.
During the trip, students first visited one of the most famous pilgrimage sites in Bukhara — the Bahouddin Naqshband Architectural Complex. There, they learned about the life and work of Bahouddin Naqshband, the founder of the Naqshbandi Sufi order, and received detailed information about the mausoleum, mosque, and other religious structures within the complex.
Students also visited the Ark Fortress, considered the heart of the ancient city. The fortress walls, inner courtyards, reception halls, and even the prison left a strong impression on the visitors.
The next destination was the Lyabi-Hauz Complex, where students studied the architectural style and cultural significance of historical buildings dating back to the 17th century.
In addition, students explored the historic center of Bukhara on foot, showing great interest in its many madrasahs, mosques, caravanserais, and bazaars, including monuments such as Kukaldosh Madrasah, Mir-i-Arab Madrasah, and Magoki Attori Mosque.
At the end of the trip, students visited Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa, the summer palace of the Bukhara emirs, gaining deeper insight into the court culture of the Emirate during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
