We are pleased to announce that the International Conference is scheduled to take place in Samarkand city (Uzbekistan) at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism, May 29-30, 2020. The theme of the conference, «The creative potential of a multilingual personality: the influence of the multilinguistic factor on the process of learning a foreign language».
The conference is organized jointly by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development, in cooperation with the Korea university of international studies (Korea), Samarkand State university (Uzbekistan), Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Kazakhstan), The Centre for Applied Linguistics (USA), and the Centre for Translation and Intercultural Studies (CTIS) (UK).
The main goal of the International scientific and practical conference is the creation of an international and information platform for improving the process of teaching foreign languages, as well as discussions on the theoretical and applied aspects of modern linguistics.
Following the conference, an electronic collection of papers will be registered in Crossref and Google Scholar international systems, and a DOI number will be given.
The language of the Conference and for the Proceedings will be in English.
Sections of the International Conference:
- Actual issues related to modern linguistics;
- Problems of implementation of applied linguistics in the development of Intercultural Communication;
- The issues of dynamic interaction of traditional and new teaching methods, local and world trends in the formation of a multilingual personality;
- Cultural pragmatic features in the teaching of a foreign language.

- The acceptable word range for the abstract is 250 – 300 words;
- Please download the abstract template and follow the format carefully;
- We encourage you to send complete abstract which is a compendious summary of a paper’s substance including its background, purpose, methodology, results, and conclusion. The abstract should clearly indicate the aims and conclusions of the work to be described in the final paper;
- The abstract must include a comprehensive title, the name of all authors, their complete affiliation (address, e-mail, phone number).

Abstract review process
Every abstract will undergo a double-blind peer review by an international Scientific Committee Member within three days after its receipt.
The results of the abstract review will be sent to the author within 5 days of submission.
Abstract Assessment criteria
The Scientific Committee evaluates abstracts according to the following criteria.

If an abstract is accepted, submitter must provide full text paper.
We accept the submission of high-quality papers describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, experimental and theoretical work or research in all of the topic areas mentioned. All works are blindly reviewed and tested in plagiarism checker. Scientific articles should contain the results of original scientific research undertaken by the author. Following the ethical conduct is very critical in the academic world. Hence, any act of plagiarism cannot be tolerated. If an author is found to commit an act of plagiarism, the submission will be automatically dismissed.
Papers submitted at the conference will be published in the conference proceedings, subject to their acceptance by the review scientific committee.
Please note, that the number of authors must not be more than three. The number of articles that the author may publish must not be more than two. Articles submitted for publication must be at least 6 and not more than 15 pages, with abstracts of 250-300 words.
Research paper structure
Your paper should follow the Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion system, and usually consist of the following sections:
- Title;
- Authors (no more than three authors);
- Keywords (no more than seven);
- Abstract;
- Introduction;
- Methods;
- Results;
- Discussion;
- Conclusion;
References. Place the list of references at the end of the article, under the title “References”. In the text, references to sources should be placed in square brackets and include the source number, with page numbers separated by a comma: [5, p. 115]. Footnotes are not permitted. Presentation Guidelines
All the oral presentations should be in English.
Practice your presentation as much as possible and consider the time you are given. The length of the presentation should be around 15 minutes. You can use any form of presentation you wish. Use your time fully and effectively. Give priority to your findings and outcomes. Have a copy of your presentation on a USB device.

All conference participants must pay the registration fee. Registration fee – 30.000 sum for each page of the paper for participants from Uzbekistan. Foreign participants have to pay a registration fee of 30 USD only. Registration fees are paid by the authors after the approval of their full papers.
