From 1 to 3 November SamarkandHalfMarathon took place in Samarkand. The aim of the project is to draw public attention to the problem of accessibility and inclusiveness of cultural and art objects, as well as to promote healthy lifestyle and sport tourism development in Uzbekistan.

The semi-marathon was attended by both experienced and beginner runners - 21 km, 10 km and 2 km in length.

Of course, the International University of Tourism "Silk Road" was not aside, the administration as well as students of the university took part in this event and contributed as volunteers and participants in the event.
