The department of innovation and patent service is an integral part of innovation activity of "Silk Road" IUT and consists in legal support of results of educational, scientific and technical activity of the university.
The major goals of the department are:
- Formation of the business, patent and regulatory and technical information fund;
- Organization of services and access to these resources for readers and users;
- The organization and conduct of information and educational activities designed to develop skills in search and work with business, patent and normative and technical information;
- Consulting and methodological assistance in using these types of information, on intellectual property issues;
- Conducting patent research;
- Preparation and execution of application documents for all intellectual property objects;
- Promotion of patent, regulatory and technical, business information and special expertise in specialized areas.
