Independent researcher of Termez State University Khamzaeva Dilfuza Samarovna 08.00.17 - on speciality ‘Tourism and hotel activity’ (economic sciences) will discuss the dissertation written for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on the theme ‘Improvement of economic methods of diversification of tourist products in the regions.’

In order to organise leisure activities for the youth of the mahallas during the holidays and further increase the interest of the younger generation in sports, “Fun Starts” competitions were organised in the sports hall of “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, in which several mahallas of Samarkand city took part. The initiative, agility and vigour of the youth of the mahallas contributed to the more optimistic conduct of the competitions.

On August 9-12 of this year, the 9th Hun-Turk Congress was held in Budapest, the capital of the Republic of Hungary, and in the gray hills of the historic Bugach district of Kechkemet region.

In this conference, which participating more than 200 scientists, composers and artists, handicraftsmen, genius people of Culture and Science, the representative of our university, Turkologist-scientist, prof. Juliboy Eltazarov is also participating.

This conference of science, culture and art, which is organized every two years by the Mojor-Turk Foundation under the auspices of the Hungarian government, discusses the current and current problems of the Hun-Turk world. In addition, actions to preserve and revive the ancient culture, art, ethnographic traditions of the sister nations are defined.

The representative of our university presented his views and understandings on the geopolitics of the Turkic World at the scientific conference held within the framework of the Congress.

From August 8-13, 2024, the III International Congress "Youth - Creators of the Future!" was held in the Shahrisabz district of the Kashkadarya region. In addition to delegates from all regions of our republic, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, a team of foreign students from our university actively participated.

Over the five days, the congress was filled with numerous projects and festivals in the fields of tourism and ecology.

The goal was to increase the activity of young people in the fields of ecology and socio-economic areas, to broadly involve them in the tourism sector, and to realize the promising ideas and projects of the younger generation in the fields of ecology and tourism.

Within the framework of the congress, a series of competitions, presentations, meetings, campaigns, and projects were organized daily. In addition, sports competitions in national and ethnic sports, cultural and entertainment events, round tables on organizing businesses and producing handicraft products, creative dialogues with famous theater and cinema artists, elections to the "Young Ecologists" movement, and the Youth Tourism Ambassadors Council were held for the youth.

"Zakovat" intellectual game organized among foreign delegations within the framework of the congress, our university's team of foreign students took 1st place.

M. Abbasova, Chairperson of the Women's Committee of our university, was awarded a certificate of gratitude from the regional administration on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the foundation of the "Okila ayollar" project, organised on the initiative of our president. The certificate of gratitude was handed over by the deputy regional administrator Z. Rakhmonova, in which the practical work of M. Competitions were held among youth of mahalla

Our university is also actively involved in the exemplary organisation of free time for the youth of the mahalla during the summer days. In particular, our university organises a number of sports competitions for the youth of the mahalla located near our university. Yesterday, volleyball competitions were held among the youth of the mahalla in the sports hall of our university.

The International Seminar was held in the People's Republic of China from 3 to 16 July this year, the conference was dedicated to the theme " Silk Road culture and tourism development: enhancing capabilities of culture and tourism research in Central Asian countries".

The opening ceremony of the seminar took place on 5 July at the Beijing University of International Studies in China. The international conference was attended by J. Matkarimov, Head of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change Department, Tourism Committee, Education and Management Department and Tongqian Zuo, Vice-Rector of our university, who gave a lecture on the research work and innovations of the university.

The opening ceremony of the seminar took place on 5 July at the Beijing University of International Studies in China. The international conference was attended by J. Matkarimov, Head of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change Department, Tourism Committee, Education and Management Department and Tongqian Zuo, Vice-Rector of our university, who gave a lecture on the research work and innovations of the university.

During the 14-day seminar, professors of Beijing International Studies University gave lectures on topics such as "qualitative research methods in culture and tourism", "quantitative research methods in culture and tourism". Importantly, the lectures aroused great interest among the participants and many questions were asked on various topics. The participants of the international seminar also took an active part in the "Tenth Forum of World Civilisations" held in Qiufu, Shandong Province, People's Republic of China.

As part of the seminar programme, participants had the opportunity to visit the National Museum of China, the Great Temple of China and the Beijing Museum and to get a closer look at China's rich cultural heritage and history. Participants also attended the Youth Forum held in Jinan, the provincial centre of Shandong. This forum discussed the possibilities of developing co-operation between young people in the field of tourism and cultural heritage, exchanging experiences and creating new projects. The promising projects discussed at the international seminar serve to further develop co-operation between Uzbekistan and China in the field of tourism and cultural heritage. These projects contribute to strengthening cultural ties between the two countries and open new opportunities in tourism.
