The scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Islam Karimov State Scholarship and the Navoi State Scholarship may be applied for by students in their 2nd and 3rd year of bachelor degree.

The qualification indicator of applicants for the scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan must be 100 % excellent;

The acceptance rate of candidates for the Islam Karimov State Scholarship and Navoi State Scholarship may be higher up to 25 %.

Exercise after classes on warm spring days is not only a pleasure for a person, but also a guarantee of health. These days, in order to organize the free time of our students with benefit, badminton competitions for girls and soccer competitions for boys are held on the sports grounds of student hostels at our university. In addition to being active, all our students also win in the competitions.

Members of the delegation led by Sheikh Fahim ibn Sultan Ol Qasimi, Executive Chairman of the government of the Emirate of the UAE Sharjah, who were guests in our country these days, in particular in ancient and ever-young Samarkand, visited “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage on April 18. The delegation was fully informed about the history of the University and its activities today, working on training specialists in the field of tourism, the Academy of Tourism. by the rector of our University Aziz Abduhakimov. Guests got acquainted with the conditions and opportunities created for the educational process at the University. The members of the delegation were very impressed by the activities of various works of Art organized at our university, the National Gallery of Costumes, laboratories in the field of tourism, the library, and the gym.

I was very impressed by the “Silk Road”  International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Samarkand. I was shocked to see the works of art with a very high spiritual value, and my interest grew even more. The conditions and opportunities created for foreigners and local students on the modern campus are a sign of the even brighter future of the tourism industry.  

For information, the opening of the exhibition of archaeological findings of the emirate of Sharjah was held on April 18 at The Art Residence at “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Samarkand, the executive chairman of the government of the Emirate of Sharjah Sheikh Fahim ibn Sultan Ol Qasimi, the Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change Aziz Abdukhakimov, General Director of Sharjah Archeology Department Eisa Yusuf, representatives of the UAE delegation, local experts participated in the exhibition.

On March 1 of this year, the director of the Institute of International Studies of Central Asia, Evren Rutbil, visited our university. The guest was met by the first vice-rector of the university, professor. J. Eltazarov. During the greeting, he expressed his opinion on the large-scale work being carried out today by this institute. In particular, the director of the International Studies Institute of Central Asia, Evren Rutbil, also touched upon the large-scale cooperation of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage with Turkish universities and its results. The guest donated books containing valuable information to the library of our university.
