On the Eve of coming New Year, the chairman of the women's council of "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage M.Abbasova and students visited "Sakhovat uyi", located in Samarkand city.
Representatives of the University gave gifts and food living there elderly people, congratulated them with the New Year and wished them all the best. Such events will, undoubtedly, strengthen the connection between the two generations, inspire young people for kindness and prompate them to good actions.
Also on the initiative of the Women's Council of the University, the Samarkand regional branch of the "SOS Õzbekiston bolalar mahallasi" and "Sakhovat uyi", the certificates for the annual subscription of the "Zarafshon" and "Самаркандский вестник" newspapers were awarded.
The two-day seminar was attended by Directors and Deputy Directors of colleges and technical schools under the University. This conference was took part by the administration and teachers of our University. Topical problems and plans for the future were discussed.
This conference was held in order to presidential decree - 5270 ‘On measures to further improve the continuous system of training qualified personnel in the field of tourism, cultural heritage and museology’.

The 60th anniversary of the First Vice-Rector of the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road", a famous scientist, member of the Turkish Linguistic Society, enthusiastic leader Juliboy Eltazarov was widely celebrated in the conference hall of Samarkand State University.
At the beginning of the event, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Tourism and Sports, Rector of the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road" A. Abdukhakimov made a congratulatory speech online.
Also, the vice-rector of the Samarkand State University for academic affairs, professor Akhmadjon Soliev also read out the congratulations of the university rector, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, professor Rustam Kholmurodov and presented gifts.
After that, a film about the life and work of Juliboy Eltazarov, prepared by the Information Service of the University, was shown.

Today, December 24, representatives of the International University of Tourism and Hospitality in Turkestan, Republic of Kazakhstan, visited the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road".
The purpose of the visit is to implement practical measures within the framework of the signed memorandum of cooperation, to establish exchange programs between students, researchers and teachers between the two universities.
In the course of bilateral negotiations, the first vice-rector, professor J. Eltazarov and adviser to the rector A. Ospanova spoke about the need for rational use of the existing scientific and academic potential of the two educational institutions and plans for the future.
The delegation met with the educational process, students and teachers of our university and visited the university library.

Practical seminar for the implementation of the Presidential Decree
To implement the Presidential Decree of October 30, 2021 № PP-5270 "On measures to further improve the continuous training of qualified personnel in the field of tourism, cultural heritage and museology" high-level seminars for heads of colleges and technical schools under the University will be organized on December 23-24.
Directors and Deputy Directors of colleges and technical schools under the University take part in these seminars. The two-day sessions are planned as part of the Roadmap developed by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Administration of ‘Silk Road’ International university of Tourism and Cultural Heritage to implement the decision PP-5270 and plans for the future.
Within the framework of the “Youth Forum of Uzbekistan 2021" on December 21 of this year, in order to implement innovative ideas and startup projects of young people, develop their innovative entrepreneurial skills within the framework of a joint project of the Agency for Youth Affairs, the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the UN development program Promoting Youth Employment in Uzbekistan, an exhibition "40 most promising startup projects" and an award ceremony were held.
At this exhibition, the 3rd-year student of the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road" Shodier Amirullayev with his project "Sunshine-Educational Platform" was among the "40 most promising startup projects", received a target grant of 50 million soums and a cash prize of 5 million soums from K-Space Coworking for working on projects in Open Space, as well as a symbolic cup and Crystal certificate.
Shodier Amirullayev is also a member of the Youth Parliament at the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.
The II International Youth Tourism Forum was held in Bukhara on December 20-21 this year. The project was initiated by the Department of Tourism and Sports of the Bukhara region; about 10 foreign delegates took part in the online forum. The purpose of the event is to identify promising scientific developments of local and foreign experts and students, to identify and implement start-up projects, as well as to promote the development of qualified personnel in the field of tourism.
The two-day forum was attended by young people from a number of regions of the country, as well as international students (online) and industry experts with their start-up projects and research.
According to it:
— The most creative idea for MICE tourism "Silk Road" of the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage; Mamatkulova Sarvinoz and Muminov Zhasur took first place in this direction with their project "MICE TOURISM".
— The best presentation on ecotourism: Bukhara State University and "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage ; The "Great Emirate" by Alekperova Dilshodaxon" won first place with the Cultural Desert-Camp project.
— 2nd place was taken by students of "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Tuychiev Inoyatillo and Turakulov Shahzod with a project called "Bubble Tent & Yurtent" - students have developed a lightweight mobile construction for camping.
— The best idea in the field of tourism and innovation: International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road"; The second place was taken by Ernazarov Barkamol, Nasrullaeva Shakhrizoda and Akhmadkhon Davlatov with their projects "VRtours".
On the same day, ambassadors of tourism in Bukhara were elected, who were awarded a silver badge "Ambassador of Tourism of Bukhara."
As part of the forum, an excursion around Bukhara was organized for students.
