The head of the "Languages and Global Studies" department, Ph.D. T.I. Sultanov, conducted a seminar-training for the professors and teachers of the department on topic "Publishing articles in prestigious international journals". The seminar provided information on how to find prestigious journals listed in the Elsevier foreign database, how to register and submit an article on the website of journals in the Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 categories included in the Scopus bibliographic database.

Also, the steps of registration on the website of the DergiPark organization, which unites the prestigious international journals in Turkey, the conditions for publishing articles in Turkish journals included in the bibliographic database "Scopus" and the requirements for formalizing the article were explained in detail. Clear answers were given to the questions that interested the participants. It was noted that the publication of articles in prestigious magazines by professors and teachers will have a significant impact on the further increase of the university's international rating.
