The person, nation and people are imbued with a sense of historical memory. Memory illuminates our lives like Holy Scripture, representing the past, our national heritage.
Students of our University take an active part in spiritual and educational events held at the national level. Recently, an online conference was held on the theme “Courage of ancestors-an example for descendants”, dedicated to May 9 - the day of memory and honors, the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II, and promotion of the contribution of the Uzbek people to the Great Victory. The University's teaching staff also took an active part in the online conference.
The conference was attended by prominent scientists and historians of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Students were provided with interesting information about significant events of World War II. In particular, the 1st year student Shohrukh Sultanov expressed his thoughts and opinions, shared interesting facts about the educational processes of the Samarkand region during the WWII.
Memory and dignity are the unselfish spiritual goods of the human mind, the redemptive criteria of life. Historical memory strengthens the human will, so we encourage students to study the history of our ancestors in greater depth.
