On December 10, an exclusive training seminar was held for the teachers and employees of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism on the topic: “How to publish an article for free in a journal with a high impact factor?”.
This seminar was organized by the efforts of the Research Support Center, in particular, the founder - Aliya Ospanova, an international expert in higher education and science, former regional Director of Elsevier for Central Asia.
The program of the seminar included such priority aspects as:
- key academic writing skills
- preparation of a scientific article in accordance with international requirements
- most popular mistakes
- secrets and tips.
The founder of the Research Support Center also touched upon such an important topic as the process of writing a scientific article, which includes such stages as:
- definition of the research topic
- following the correct process of writing articles
- select the language of the article
- selection of necessary literature
- using the correct structure for writing scientific articles
- preparation for reviewers’ questions.
It is particularly worth noting that, being a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aliya Ospanova warmly described the tourism potential of Uzbekistan as a “favorable platform” for writing important and popular scientific works of international significance.
