One of the main goals of improving the rating of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism is to create the largest and richest library, where students will be provided with all the conditions for a more extensive acquaintance with the multifaceted field of tourism. In this direction, the university library fund is rapidly expanding through the efforts of many international and local authorities, tourist organizations and embassies.

With special pride, the rector of the university presented to the public a unique university library, decorated in a modern design, and acting as a full-fledged high-tech center of tourist knowledge.

It is worth noting that the university library is divided into several reading areas: the hall of electronic resources, the central hall, the international hall, the national hall, the hall of rare books, as well as the “Brainstorming-room”, where students can hold small meetings to discuss a particular book. A special place is occupied by the rector’s room, which contains books from the personal library of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdukhakimov A.A.

At the moment, the university library fund has more than 10 thousand printed books, as well as more than a thousand electronic books. The library is equipped with modern equipment, a language lab, which provides all the necessary electronic materials for learning languages and more detailed acquaintance with tourist literature.
