On November 22, 2022, the second day of the conference on the topic “New concepts, opportunities and innovative development of enterprises in the sphere of tourism” was held at the Conference Hall of “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Samarkand. The university's basic doctoral students participated at the conference with the presentations of their research.

On November 22, 2022, the opening ceremony of the international scientific and practical conference on the topic “New concepts, opportunities in the field of tourism and innovative development of enterprises” was held at the Conference Hall of "Silk Road"  International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. The conference was opened by the head of the Department of Education and Science Development and Research, Doctor of Economics Eshtayev Alisher Abduganievich and the first vice-rector of the university, Doctor of Philology, Professor Eltazarov Joliboy Danabayevich. Scientists and experts of tourism sector from a number of foreign countries participated offline and online on the first day of the conference:

In new Uzbekistan, people are precious, people are dear
sophistication, beauty, grace... these descriptions are for girls. On November 18 of this year, the next meeting of the "Leader girls" club, founded under the Women's Council of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, was organized in an unconventional style. An event was held among the students of this club on the topic of "Uzbek national costumes" and "History of the costumes worn by my grandmother". The purpose of holding such an event is to awaken a sense of respect for Uzbek national costumes and the national costumes worn by our grandmothers, a sense of pride in our unique traditions, and at the same time, to teach them the qualities of oriental manners, which will help them in the future and to create a foundation for them to become a real housewife, a beloved mother and an honorable grandmother. The event is aimed at providing all-round support to the students and increasing their sense of involvement in the reforms. Such noble actions will serve as an important factor in increasing the activity of women and their prosperous life in the future.

An introduction project was organized with the participation of students and teachers of special school No. 1 in Samarkand in order to provide information about their studies in higher education and the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 641 "On the Rights of Persons with Disabilities" dated October 15, 2020 at the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

During the meeting, an introduction to the higher education system and the conditions created at the university and discussions on the interests of the students were organized.

An international conference on "CSR and ESG in Emerging Markets" will be held on November 29, 2022 at the Singapore Management Development Institute in Tashkent.

The purpose of the event is to focus on the development of sustainable business practices in Uzbekistan, combining national and international efforts in this regard, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental and Social Corporate Governance (ESG). ) and coordination of mutual cooperation of ministries, agencies, business entities on the implementation of the principles of sustainable tourism development in our country.

The conference is planned to be attended by responsible employees of relevant ministries and agencies, representatives of national think tanks and consulting companies, international organizations, foreign experts, private sector and state-owned enterprises, and mass media.

On November 28-29, 2022, an international scientific and practical conference will be held on the topic "Educational activities of Jadids: ideas, goals, tasks and contribution to the development of Turkestan".

On November 15-16, as part of the II World Conference on Early Childhood Education of UNESCO, meetings were organized for the delegation that arrived in Samarkand on November 17 in pre-school educational institutions and schools of Samarkand, as well as in Samarkand's attractions.

 A team of volunteer translators, consisting of a group of university students, worked during the meetings.

On November 18 of this year, the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road” was visited by students of the 11th grade of the state secondary school №6 of the city of Samarkand.

During the excursion, the students got acquainted with the educational process, visited a unique educational and production complex, which includes hotel rooms, a bar-restaurant; a Conference Hall equipped with advanced technologies, a university canteen designed in the style of a cafeteria, a universal sports Hall, and also Unique Library.

The international UNESCO organization has carried out a number of works to establish peace, inter-religious and inter-confessional dialogue, development of cooperation between nations and peoples, and now more than 70 international documents on tolerance have been adopted.

          Their bright example has been celebrated all over the world since November 16, 1995 as "November 16 - International Day of Tolerance". Celebrating this date has become a good tradition in Uzbekistan. On November 15-20 of this year, the week of inter-ethnic harmony and religious tolerance dedicated to the International Day of Tolerance is being held in our country.

        In this regard, within the framework of the "Tolerance Week" program, a roundtable discussion was organized with local and foreign students of "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and Stefania Giannini, Deputy Director- General of Education Sector of UNESCO.

         During the meeting, students congratulated each other on "International Day of Tolerance". In addition, the meeting was full of interesting questions and answers as well as dialogue.

The future of any country is determined by mentally mature, physically healthy young people with high intellectual potential. After all, attention to youth is attention to the future of our country.

At this point, "Leader and youth meeting" of Ismailov Ilkhom Ismailzoda, Head of the Samarkand Regional Emergency Department, was held under the slogan "A day with the leader" on November 17 with the students of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in order to ensure the implementation of paragraph 56 of the 2nd appendix of the control plan over the implementation of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan № 222 "On comprehensive socio-economic development of the regions of Samarkand region in 2022-2026 and additional measures to further improve the standard of living of the population".

At the organized event, Ismailov Ilkhom Ismailzoda gave a speech about the attention and care given to the youth by the head of our state and spoke about his life, work experience, achievements, and leadership activities.

Ismailov Ilkhom Ismailzada held a lively conversation with university students who are striving for a great life with their thoughts and views on various topics of interest to them, observing the talent, he was pleased with focused ideas and skills and potential of each student, and their orientation to foreign languages, economy, IT and, most importantly, tourism and wished them success in their pursuit of goals.

The roundtable discussion was followed by a lively question and answer session, which left a great impression on the students. Colonel Ismailov Ilkhom Ismailzoda awarded souvenirs to students who actively participated with their questions.

At the end of the meeting, a tree-planting ceremony was organized in the yard of our university, where Colonel Ismailov Ilkhom Ismailzoda and university students planted saplings.
