On the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the State Flag", "Tourism Management" department of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage organized an event on the theme "Loyalty to the flag - loyalty to the country" for professors and teachers of the department and a group of students.

The event was led by the head of the "Tourism Management" department, Ph.D. A. Odilov gave an introduction and congratulated the participants on the 31st anniversary of the flag, which is considered a symbol of the independence of our country. It was emphasized that when we look at our flag, we feel spiritual enthusiasm, increased determination, pride and confidence in the great future. A group of active students also participated in the event and had a conversation with professors and teachers.

Z. Bektimirov, a teacher of the Department of Languages, who was invited to the event as a guest, with his emotional words about the flag, said that a part of the boundless love for the motherland can be expressed through the flag

The national flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a symbol of the state sovereignty of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Among the state symbols, our national flag is the glory and historical memory of our people, embodying their aspirations, it will give pride and honor to every citizen living in this country, and it will be forever!

In connection with the 31st anniversary of the adoption of the national flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan on November 18 of this year, an event was held under the slogan "Always swing the flag of my country " at the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

This event was held in cooperation with Ismailov Ilkhom Ismailzoda, the head of the Emergency Situations Department of Samarkand region, and teachers and students of the university. At the event, students described the symbol of our country in different foreign languages.

Сегодня в Самарканде в Международном университете туризма и культурного наследия «Шелковый путь» состоялась церемония открытия монумента «Древо мира» с участием заместителя генерального директора ЮНЕСКО Стефании Жанини, специального посла ЮНЕСКО по культурной дипломатии Хедвы Сэр, статс-секретаря Федерального Министерства экономического сотрудничества и развития Германии (BMZ) Нильса Аннена и заместителя Премьер-министра – Министра туризма и культурного наследия Азиза Абдухакимова. 

Автором монумента «Древо мира» является Хедва Сэр. Работы выдающегося скульптора Хедвы Сер известны во всем мире. Такая скульптура представлена в Израиле, Германии, США, Азербайджане, Казахстане, Андорре, Греции, на Мальте и др. Всего в мире их 17.  

Широкое признание этого художественного произведения в мире обусловлено тем, что автор соединила в скульптуре символы трех ведущих религий - иудаизма, мусульманства и христианства.

 As part of the weekly educational activities held by the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in the neighborhoods of Samarkand region, University teacher T.I. Sultanov visited the "Zarafshon" community of Toylok district.

During the visit, a roundtable discussion was held among the citizens and youth of the neighborhood based on the principle of "One intellectual for one neighborhood."

Together with neighborhood activists, neighborhood youth interviews were organized and families in need of assistance were informed about the wide-scale reforms and wide opportunities currently being carried out in our Republic. The students of the general education school located in the area of ​​the neighborhood were given detailed information about the available courses of study at the university. The future plans were discussed with neighborhood activists and the work to be done was determined.

During the interview, the young people were informed about the large-scale reforms and wide opportunities currently being carried out in our republic. Organized and non-organized youth in the neighborhood were given detailed information about the available educational programs at our university. In the future, they were given guidance on choosing a profession.

Monitoring was carried out in the neighborhood during a roundtable discussion with organized and non-organized youth. Methodological support was given in relation to identified shortcomings. A question and answer session was held with young people and opinions were exchanged about how to get young people interested in entering OTM and their chosen profession, and giving them the right directions. The visit was very informative and detailed.

Citizens and young people of "Zarafshon" neighborhood took an active part in the event. During the event, the citizens of the neighborhood were informed about the rational policies and the attention paid to the fields currently being carried out in our country. The youth of the neighborhood were interviewed on the topic of choosing the right profession in the future. During the interview, detailed information was given about "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

The teachers of "Languages" department of "Silk road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage I.Ablakulova and N.Halimova took an active part in the international conference called "Shaping the science 4" organized by the initiative of the Agency for Popularization of Foreign Language Learning under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

November 17, 2022, Slovak delegation headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to Uzbekistan, Jan Bory, and Associate Professor of the Department of the International Trade Faculty of the University of Economics in Bratislava, Elena Kashtyakova visited "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. During the visit, Associate Professor Elena Kashtyakova gave a guest lecture to students on the topic: Support for the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises, family business, women in business and tourism business in Slovakia.

The purpose of the presentation is to explore the possibilities of the impact of the internationalization of SMEs, the formation of family business and tourism business on economic development in Slovakia with the possibility of implementation for Uzbekistan. During the lecture, Mr. Ambassador Jan Bory spoke in detail about the main natural and architectural attractions of Slovakia. At the end of his speech, Mr. Ambassador wished the students success in their studies and development, determination in mastering sciences and in achieving any goals, curiosity and interest in knowledge!

The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation in the educational sphere. The mission is aimed at further strengthening and developing positive dynamics in bilateral relations between Slovakia and Uzbekistan. It is noteworthy that the Ambassador of Slovakia to Uzbekistan Jan Bory donated a unique collection of scientific literature and textbooks to the library fund of the university. The books provided contain the latest research information about tourism, culture and customs of Slovakia, which will undoubtedly be of great benefit to our teachers and students in the process of scientific research and training.

During the introductory tour, the guests were introduced to the unique smart campus and the innovative library of the university. They were impressed by the management model and advanced technologies used in the learning process, as well as the unique historical elements of the Great Silk Road installed by the galleries and the University Library.

O‘zbekiston Respublikasi Prezidentining 2022-yil 15-yanvardagi “Turizm, madaniyat, madaniy meros va sport sohalarini yanada rivojlantirish uchun qo‘shimcha sharoitlar yaratish to‘g‘risida”gi PF-52-sonli Farmoni va Turizm va madaniy meros vaziri tomonidan tasdiqlangan “Yoshlarning turizm sohasidagi tadbirkorlik tashabbuslarini qo‘llab-quvvatlash maqsadida grant ajratish tartibi to‘g‘risida”gi Nizomga muvofiq yoshlarning turizm sohasidagi tadbirkorlik tashabbuslarini qo‘llab-quvvatlash maqsadida Davlat byudjetidan grant ajratish tartibi belgilangan.

Talabgor ariza topshirish uchun arizaga quyidagi hujjatlarni ilova qilishi shart, bular:

a) veb-saytni yaratish bo‘yicha taqdimot (taqdimotda veb-saytning chet tillari, onlayn to‘lovlarni qabul qiluvchi (jumladan, xorijiy valyutada ham), bron qilish xizmatlari to‘g‘risida ma’lumotlar ko‘rsatiladi);

b) turoperatorlik faoliyatini amalga oshirishni nazarda tutuvchi biznes reja;

c) xorijiy mamlakatlardagi turizm ko‘rgazma va yarmarkalarida ishtirok etishning rejasi va turistik stend taqdimoti;

d) respublikaga xorijiy mamlakatlardan turistlarni jalb qilish bo‘yicha taqdimot.

Nizomga muvofiq, talabgorga grant mablag‘lari quyidagi shartlarda ajratiladi:

– grant olish uchun ariza topshirgan vaqtda turistik (turoperatorlik) faoliyat bilan shug‘ullanayotgan tashkilotda ta’sischi va/yoki direktor bo‘lmasligi;

– grant olingan kundan boshlab ko‘pi bilan 10 ish kunida turoperatorlik faoliyatini amalga oshirish uchun litsenziya olishi;

– uch yil davomida kamida 200 nafar xorijiy sayyohlar uchun tur tashkil qilishi;

– grant ajratish to‘g‘risida qaror qabul qilingan taqdirda, 15 ish kunida turoperator hamda Vazirlik o‘rtasida 3 yil mobaynida O‘zbekiston Respublikasiga kamida 200 nafar xorijiy sayyohlarni jalb qilish yuzasidan shartnoma imzoshi;

– grant ajratilgandan so‘ng turoperator 3 yil davomida har yili 10-noyabrga qadar o‘zining xorijiy hamkori bilan tuzilgan shartnomasi, respublikaga xorijiy mamlakatlardan olib kelingan turistlar soni, elektron hujjat aylanishining avtomatlashtirilgan axborot tizimi orqali turoperator va joylashtirish vositasi o‘rtasidagi tasdiqlangan elektron hisobvaraq-fakturadagi turistlarning familiyasi, ism-sharifi va yashagan kunlari ko‘rsatilgan ro‘yxatini taqdim etib borishi;

– grant ajratilgan turoperator grant ajratish bo‘yicha, Vazirlik bilan shartnoma imzolangan kundan boshlab 3 yil mobaynida O‘zbekiston Respublikasiga kamida 200 nafar xorijiy turistlar uchun tur tashkil qila olmagan taqdirda, ajratilgan mablag‘larni Jamg‘armaga tuzilgan shartnomada belgilangan tartibda grantning umumiy summasidan jalb qilingan turistlarning soniga mutanosib summani chegirgan holda, qolgan mablag‘larni qaytarishi.

Shuningdek, tegishli turizm yo‘nalishi bo‘yicha oliy yoki o‘rta maxsus, kasb-hunar ma’lumotiga yoki malaka sertifikatiga ega bo‘lgan, xorijiy tillar bo‘yicha yetakchi xalqaro va baholash tizimlarining amaldagi sertifikatlari, shu jumladan, IELTS bo‘yicha kamida 5,5 ball va undan yuqori, Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) bo‘yicha kamida B2 va undan yuqori, TOEFL IBT bo‘yicha kamida 72 va undan yuqori ball va/yoki shunga tenglashtirilgan bilim darajasi ko‘rsatkichi bilan xalqaro sertifikatlarga ega bo‘lgan talabgorlarga ustunlik berilishi eslatib o‘tiladi.

Молодёжи за предпринимательские инициативы в сфере туризма предоставляются гранты!

Согласно Указу Президента Республики Узбекистан от 15 января 2022 года № УП-52 “О создании дополнительных условий для дальнейшего развития сфер туризма, культуры, культурного наследия и спорта” и в соответствии с Положением “О порядке выделения грантов в поддержку предпринимательских инициатив молодежи в сфере туризма” утверждённым Министром туризма и культурного наследия установлен порядок выделения грантов из государственного бюджета в поддержку предпринимательских инициатив молодежи в сфере туризма.

Претендент на грант вместе с заявлением должен предоставить следующие документы:

а) презентация по созданию веб-сайта (в презентации указывается информация о языках веб-сайта, получателе онлайн-платежей (в том числе в иностранной валюте), услугах бронирования);

б) бизнес-план, предусматривающий осуществление туроператорской деятельности;

в) план участия в туристических выставках и ярмарках зарубежных стран и презентация туристского стенда;

г) презентация по привлечению в республику туристов из зарубежных стран.

В соответствии с Положением средства гранта выделяются заявителю на следующих условиях:

– отсутствие учредителя и/или директора в организации, занимающейся туристской (туроператорской) деятельностью на момент подачи заявки на грант;

– получение лицензии на осуществление туроператорской деятельности не позднее 10 рабочих дней со дня получения гранта;

– в случае принятия решения о выделении гранта, в течение 15 рабочих дней между туроператором и Министерством будет подписано соглашение о привлечении не менее 200 иностранных туристов в Республику Узбекистан в течение 3 лет;

– после предоставления гранта туроператор ежегодно в течение 3 лет до 10 ноября подписывает договор со своим иностранным партнером, где указывает количество туристов, привезенных в республику из зарубежных стран, фамилию, имя и отчество туристов в утвержденном электронном счете-фактуре между туроператором и средством размещения через автоматизированную информационную систему электронного документооборота, предоставляет список с указанием дат проживания;

– туроператор, которому выделен грант, в случае невозможности в течение 3 лет со дня подписания договора с Министерством организовать тур в Республику Узбекистан не менее, чем для 200 иностранных туристов, возвращает в Фонд выделенные средства с вычетом из общей суммы гранта суммы, пропорциональной количеству привлеченных туристов, в порядке, установленном заключенным договором.

Также необходимо предоставить действующие международные сертификаты, подтверждающие знание иностранных языков, документы о высшем или среднем специальном и профессиональном образовании или квалификационный сертификат в соответствующей туристической области, в том числе не менее 5,5 баллов и выше по IELTS, не менее B2 и выше по Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (предпочтение отдается кандидатам, имеющим международные сертификаты по TOEFL IBT с баллом не менее 72 и выше).

The living conditions of the students living in the Flats and Dormitories were checked by M. Abduraxmonova,  the tutor of "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. Due to the observed cold weather, students were given insights about the rational and correct use of gas stoves and heating systems.

In order to develop cooperation and better mutual understanding of the public, as well as to establish an academic bridge for the unhindered mobility of students and teachers of universities in China and Uzbekistan, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and North-west University in China.

Online signing ceremony of documents was held as part of the 120th anniversary of North-west University. An agreement was also signed on the establishment of a Chinese-Uzbek joint scientific and technological laboratory for archeology and the protection of cultural heritage between the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and North-west University.

Referency: The Chinese-Uzbek joint scientific and technological laboratory of archeology and protection of cultural heritage is an important part of the "Joint scientific laboratory of China and Central Asia for the study of human resources and the environment" of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, is a leading international center for scientific research, training of talented students and cultural exchange.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of both universities. During his speech, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage A.A. Abdukhakimov expressed his gratitude to the President of North-west University, Mr. Guo Lihong, and emphasized his appreciation for the cooperation between the two universities.  

International Conference on the topic “Shaping the Science 4” is planned to be held on November 7 of this year at the initiative of the Agency for Popularization of Foreign Language Learning under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The main goal expected from the conference is that world-class experts and students will unite on the following topics:

• Applied Sciences
•  Language and Education 
•  Economy 
•  Natural sciences and medicine 

 Also, specialists from the republic of Uzbekistan Great Britain, The United States of America, Greece, and India will participate in the conference.
