The living conditions of the students living in the Flats and Dormitories were checked by the responsible staff of "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the tutor Sh.Jonuzoqova. Due to the observed cold weather, students were given insights about the rational and correct use of gas stoves and heating systems.

В ходе мероприятия был подробно объяснен процесс регистрации книг, абонентов на американской библиотечной платформе «Atriuum Book Systems», которая эффективно используется в информационно-ресурсном центре университета.

During the visit, an agreement on cooperation between universities was signed, according to which, from the 2023 academic year, under the student exchange program, the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage will have the opportunity to send two students to a Japanese university, in turn, the Silk Road University will accept two students from Wakayama University for one academic year.

Note: On December 16, 2020, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Wakayama University in Japan and the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

November 1^st, within the framework of the “Pilgrimage Tourism Week”, a delegation from Malaysia, more precisely, the Director General of the Center for Islamic Tourism under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia Mohmed Razip Hasan and the General Manager Mohd Zaidi Bahirin Zainal visited the "Silk Road"  International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

The guests were introduced to the unique smart campus and the university's innovative library. In turn, they were impressed by the management model and advanced technologies used in the learning process, as well as the unique historical elements of the Great Silk Road installed in the galleries and in the library of the university.

On the occasion of the Uzbekistan Trade Unions Day, volleyball, table tennis, chess and draughts competitions were held among teachers and staff of the university on November 7. At the end of the competition, the winners were awarded cups, medals and valuable prizes. After the tournament, a round table discussion was held with the university faculty and staff with the participation of the Chairman of Samarkand Regional Council of the Association of Trade Unions of Culture, Sports and Tourism Employees Achilov Jushkin Mardievich and responsible organizer of Samarkand Regional Federation of Physical Culture and Sports Administration Bakhtiyor Turopov.
