Museum studies explore the history of museums and their role in society, as well as the activities they engage in, including curating, preservation, public programming, and education.
The world has fundamentally changed. The global pandemic has affected all areas of society, including museums. We believe that museums are playing and will continue to play a vital role in rebuilding our communities. Museums will look different than they do today, but at the core, they remain organizations devoted to learning, wellbeing, community building, and social justice.
Books on this subject can be found in the library of our university. They will also be an excellent supplementary source of information for our master's students in museum studies.
It is worth noting that these books were provided by our Rector A.A. Abdukhakimov.
