On November 6 of the current year, the department of work with youth and organization of events and tutors organized a preventive event for first and second year students on the theme “Increasing the level of legal knowledge of students and prevention of committing offenses and crimes by them” at “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

Nargiza Abduvakhidova, head of the department of work with youth and organization of events, speaking at the event, told about offenses and crimes committed by some students of youth today, despite the fact that all conditions have been created for students' education, noting that there is insufficient propaganda work in this direction in the field, there is a low level of legal literacy.

It is not a secret that today in our country some students studying at the university make such negative situations as illegal invasion, theft, misappropriation of other people’s property.

The conducted propaganda event gave a complete idea about various offenses and crimes committed by students, about the types of punishments applied for non-compliance with traffic rules. It was also told about building mutual respect, self-esteem, sense of dignity, religion among students and youth and the youth were called for awareness.
