On May 23 this year, representatives of the French Development Agency Antoine Chevalier and Arnaud Demarchelier visited the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
This meeting was attended by the First Vice-Rector J.Eltazarov and the Head of the Department of International Grants Sh.Ramazonov.
The French Development Agency has been financing projects in various fields in Uzbekistan since 2015. In particular, it finances projects in the field of supplying clean drinking water and transport logistics in Samarkand. To date, projects worth 800 million euros have been financed by the Agency.
The French Development Agency and the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage plan to establish cooperation in the field of tourism in the direction of education “Logistics”. In particular, university students will have the opportunity to study on a grant basis at the Master’s program at the University of Tourism and Transport Logistics in Marseille, France.
During the talks, which took place in a warm atmosphere, the parties agreed on cooperation in a number of other areas.
