On 4 May of this year, an online seminar with the China Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan was held at “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. The online seminar was participated by J.Eltazarov, First Vice-Rector of “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, R.Kobilov, Deputy governor of Samarkand region, Artem Pak, Deputy General Manager of “Air Marakanda”, F.Dodiev, Head of International Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, B.Kulahmedov, Head of Logistics Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, M.Akhmedov, Head of International Relations Department, N.Abduvakhidova, Head of student affairs department of “Silk Road” International Tourism and Cultural Heritage University, Liu Yu, Executive Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Chinese enterprises in Uzbekistan, Su Xiang, Xinjiang Cultural Development Promotion Association, Liao Yanli, Section Chief of Economic Operation of Cultural and Tourism Bureau of Guilin City, Guangxi Province, Cui Xinyu, vice president of “Qingdao Airlines”, Mou Yang, deputy marketing director of “Qingdao Airlines”, Zhang Rui, Assistant General Manager of “Qingdao Airlines” Marketing Committee and personnel from relevant departments such as the Network Capacity Department, Sales Management Department, and E-commerce Department of “Qingdao Airlines”.

         In this online seminar, issues on holding fairs in Uzbekistan and China are discussed as it affects investment, increasing Uzbek goods in the Chinese market and improving relations with China. Furthermore, “Silk Road Beauty Competition” is planned to be held at two locations in Samarkand and China. It should be noted that the “One Belt and One Road” project is planned to be implemented in September of this year.
