Today our state is paying special attention to the issues of supporting young people, helping them get a profession, and solving their problems, and a lot of practical work is being done in this direction.
On 4 August 2023, headed by the first vice-rector of “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, Professor J. Eltazarov, the university staff met with young people living in “Bogi Feruza” mahalla in Samarkand to provide support to homeless and socially unprotected youth, their upbringing, return to the right path, education, training and employment. For the first time, the university staff stayed in the flat of the mahalla “Bogi Feruz”, where Mehrangiz Tuygunova lives, and got acquainted with her lifestyle, problems, interests and plans for the future.
Today Umida Irgasheva, who lives in the mahalla “Bogi Feruza”, also works as an individual entrepreneur - a hairdresser of women. Umida has organised her entrepreneurial activity in her residential flat, using the wide opportunities created by our state. At present, as she noted, she does not need any material support, but is rather satisfied with the special attention that our President gives her. At the end of the meeting, the young people were presented with books.
