Recently, during a visit to the UK, a delegation of students led by a lecturer of the Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, they learnt about the conditions and opportunities created for students at leading universities.
Firstly, the members of the delegation, consisting of teachers and students of our university, were met by Oxford Brookes PhD student Sanjar Djumanazarov. Sanjar organised a tour of the campus for them and introduced them to the education system, telling them about the activities of the university. This was followed by meaningful talks on further strengthening potential co-operation between "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and Oxford Brookes University.
During the interview, he talked about future academic exchange programmes and joint research initiatives. In addition, representatives of our university visited the world-famous Oxford University and the Bodleian Library.
Such a hands-on visit is not only an introduction to Oxford and Oxford Brookes universities, but also an important factor for significantly enhancing the educational experience of our students and further improving co-operation.
At this point, the members of the delegation expressed their gratitude to Sanjar Djumanazarov for his sincere hospitality and to the officials of Oxford Brookes and Oxford University for their warm welcome.
