On 2 October, the First International Scientific and Practical Symposium “Topical Issues of Study and Preservation of the Tangible and Cultural Heritage of the Silk Road” continues at “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Samarkand. The symposium started its work in cooperation with the UNESCO office in Uzbekistan and the Silk Road International Research Institute at the Art Residence.

The participants of the conference were presented a number of reports of foreign specialists on certain aspects of cultural heritage. The symposium included analyses, debates, discussion between foreign and local specialists, representatives of the scientific circle on some aspects of the cultural heritage field. In addition, researchers and skilled craftsmen also carried out processes in the field of cultural heritage such as preparing disappearing ceramic designs, making them decorative. The international conference will continue till 10 October.
