This book was edited and published by Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, Beijing International Studies University, Chinese Academy of Culture and Tourism, UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Heritage Tourism along the Silk Roads.
The introduction to the book states that Central Asia, located in a strategically important area between Europe and East Asia, has long been a crossroads of civilizations and has served as an important conduit for trade and cultural exchange across the vast Eurasian continent. Over the centuries, the region has served as a bridge to bring Eastern and Western cultures closer together. Today, Central Asia is a treasure trove of history and heritage, its rich and distinctive culture attracting an increasing number of tourists. The book also says that recognizing the tourism potential of our country, it has introduced visa-free and e-visa systems, simplified travel regulations and expanded the range of services in our country.
