Discussed Cooperation Areas with Xinjiang University for 2025

A delegation from Xinjiang University, led by Vice-Rector Mr. Jin Gang, visited the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. During the discussions, key collaborative initiatives for 2025 were identified and mutually endorsed.

The following areas of collaboration were agreed upon:

  • The formulation of a comprehensive joint action plan between Xinjiang University and the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage to systematically prepare students in the tourism sector, train professional translators, and organize advanced Chinese language seminars for local educators.
  • Emphasis was placed on fostering knowledge exchange in tourism between Uzbekistan and Xinjiang. The parties also agreed to implement advanced training programs in Xinjiang for Uzbek specialists, educators, and tourism industry professionals.
  • With Xinjiang University's support, a consensus was reached to establish a consortium involving leading Chinese universities, recognized as top-tier institutions in the QS World University Rankings, and the Silk Road International University of Tourism & Cultural Heritage. This initiative aims to facilitate large-scale academic exchange programs.
  • Commencing from the 2025–2026 academic year, the Silk Road International University of Tourism & Cultural Heritage will enroll students from Xinjiang University as part of an exchange program.

These agreements not only strengthen international cooperation but also pave the way for innovative opportunities in education and research.
