Along with the disturbance of normal educational processes as a result of the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, the Mezbone Scientific and Practical Center continues its activities online. It should be noted that the main purpose of the center is to study and analyze the services provided by tourism and develop new proposals to improve the tourist attractiveness of Uzbekistan.

The «Mezbone» Research and Training Center has been functioning at the «Silk Road» University since January 2020. The head of the centre, Azizbek Niyazov, offered students a number of his own innovative ideas:

• «1001 wonders of Samarkand»
• «New Legends of Samarkand»
• «Zest of Samarkand»
• «Mysteries of the Uzbek khans»
• «Silk Road Princesses»
• «Qadimkent»
• «Afsonabod»
• «Uchsaroy»

As a result of the seminar held in February this year, groups of interested employees and students of the University were created for further implementation of the offered projects. The university management supported several projects and agreed to fund them as Start-up projects.
