The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development and The Federation of extreme and mountain tourism of Uzbekistan (FEMTU), in order to facilitate the execution of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from January 5, 2019 number DP-5611 "On additional measures to accelerate the development of tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan", as well as in the framework of the project "Caravan of stories", in the period from 5 to 13 September 2020 organized the Youth camp "Ecoland" in the camp site "Eagle Rock" in Akhangaran district, the State of Tashkent.
Amirova Shahzoda, a 2nd-year student of the direction "Guidance and Translation", also took an active part in this project. In particular, Shahzoda was awarded a Certificate in the competition of essays on projects of tourist routes to little-known historical and ethnographic sites of Uzbekistan. Amirova Shahzoda's essay was prepared in English and was highly appreciated by the jury. In addition to participating in the essay competition, the student of the “Silk Road” University took part in various sections, where she also won prizes and was awarded diplomas. So, Shakhzoda took an honorable second place in the "Sports Orienteering" section, as well as the first place in the "Sports tourism" section.
It is worth noting that the achievements of the student of the International University of Tourism "Silk Road" Amirova Shakhzoda especially impressed the Chairman of the Federation of Extreme and Mountain Tourism of Uzbekistan Kozlovsky L.Y., which is confirmed by an official letter of thanks addressed to the First Vice-rector of the "Silk Road" University prof. Eltazarov J.D.
