The “Silk Road” International University of Tourism has many talented and enterprising students, and one of the brave students is Amir Mardonov, a 3rd-year student of the direction of “Event Management”.
We all know that in recent months, due to the coronavirus pandemic around the world, quarantine measures have also been strengthened in our country. But despite the various risks, Amir took an active part in the fight against the disease, working as a volunteer in the Samarkand regional distribution center.
It should be noted that Amir Mardonov participates in many International conferences and forums as part of his volunteer work. In particular, he participated as a volunteer in the “II Millennium Festival” (Tashkent, 2019) and the “Sharq Taronalari” music festival in 2019 year. In addition, thanks to his knowledge and efforts, he achieved high results in the competition among students of the “Silk Road” University and completed a two-week internship in Indonesia on a grant basis.
“Seeing the generosity and support shown to the people by our esteemed President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, I am proud to be the son of the great Uzbek nation. Therefore, I decided to make a small, but very significant contribution to the fight against coronavirus in our city. I am very glad that I was a volunteer in the Samarkand regional distribution center, because for me it was a great experience in volunteering”, - says Amir Mardonov.
