Further strengthening the role and position of women in State and public administration is one of the priority areas of reforms in Uzbekistan

On January 26, at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism, the Rector’s advisor on Women’s issues M. Abbasova convened a large meeting to discuss the issues of further strengthening the role and position of women in state and public administration, reflected in the Message of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Parliament (Oliy Majlis). The agenda of the fifth meeting of the Women’s Advisory Council of the University, held under the motto “Further strengthening the role and position of women in state and public administration – one of the priority areas of reforms in Uzbekistan”, included the following topical issues:

Speaker: the First Vice-rector for Internationalization and Strategic development – prof. J.D.Eltazarov.

Speaker: Rector’s advisor on Women’s issues M. Abbasova.

Speaker: teacher of the “Department of Uzbek Language and Literature and Social Sciences” of the faculty of “Tourism Management”, PhD M. Siddikova.

Speaker: the head of HR Department A.Kholbaev.

Speakers: the Lawyer of the University O.Abdusamiev, Vice-rector for Economic Affairs – A.Gadaev, Chairman of the University’s Trade Union – S.Matlabov, Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs – S.Haydarov.
