With the assistance of the Embassy of Tajikistan in the Republic of Uzbekistan, scientific works on archaeological excavations in Tajikistan and a huge number of books on folk art of the Pamirs were delivered to the library of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism.
The monographs of these works are devoted to the formation and archaeological science in Tajikistan. Conducting systematic and comprehensive studies of monuments on the territory of the republic. The archaeological sites of Southern Tajikistan are of great scientific and artistic significance, where various social, cultural and religious phenomena and traditions interacted, leaving a deep mark on the history of not only Tajikistan but also Asia as a whole.
In fairness that the countries have shared cultural origins and traditions for more than a thousand years(Samanids, Gaznevids, Temurids, Mongol Empire, Bukhara Emirate, Kokand).
Thanks to the contribution of foreign countries, diplomatic embassies and representative offices the library has a rich book collection, where in addition to the main educational fund, literature on electronic media is also presented: electronic encyclopedias, dictionaries, textbooks, textbooks, multimedia albums on DVD, audio-visual materials.
