Aziz Abdukhakimov presented a collection of unique books to the University Library

The main wealth of the library is books. One of the sources of replenishment of the Library's book fund is donation. Recently, a wonderful gift to the Library of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism was made by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan-Minister of Tourism and Sports, Rector of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism A.Abdukhakimov.

Handing over books as a gift to the library, Aziz Abdukakharovich stressed that reading books is a driving factor in the development of personal growth. Since his studies, A. Abdukhakimov pays attention to reading, visiting a particular country on a working visit, the Minister of Tourism and Sports always tries to find free time in his schedule, and look into bookstores around the world.

“Each book was selected by me personally, I tried to bring modern, relevant literature from countries such as Japan and Italy. In the future, I promise to continue to replenish the Library fund, since the book is the main source of knowledge for University students”, told A. Abdukhakimov while handing over the books.

The books provided contain the latest research information in the field of museology, history, art and culture.

The Administration of the University expresses its sincere gratitude to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan-Minister of Tourism and Sports, Rector of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism A. Abdukhakimov for a generous gift. We are sure that the donated books will not only take their place on the bookshelves, but will also find their readers.
