At the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage was held a seminar “Keeping young people from the flow of fanaticism on the basis of anti-ignorance education”

At the “Silk Road”, International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage representatives of law enforcement agencies held a seminar “Keeping young people from the flow of fanaticism on the basis of anti-ignorance education”.

The organizer of this event was the head of the department for youth work in mahallas and organization of events N.A.Abduvakhidova.

The head of the religious committee of the Samarkand Regional Khokimiyat S.Boymuradov who was invited to the seminar, stressed that terrorism is one of the most serious threats to peace, security and stability, infringes on human rights and counteracts the socio-economic development of our country. A particularly vulnerable part of our society is the youth, who in the age of globalization and free exchange of information are influenced by social networks.

Further, a specialist of the religious committee of the Samarkand Regional Khokimiyat S.Nazhmiddinova made a report, and paid special attention to the appearance, which is not characteristic of a secular state, and also gave illustrative examples.

The employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Samarkand region for combating terrorism and extremism F.Mamatkulov, as well as an employee of the State Security Service A.Mamadierov paid attention to the aspects of the emergence and development of religious extremist ideas in various regions of the world, which also use attempts to involve the younger generation through propaganda by the media.

At the end of the meeting, students and teachers asked their questions and came up with the idea of forming ideological immunity among students, and also expressed gratitude to the guests of the seminar.
