 Students of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage also took part in the competition. On December 3, the International Day of Disabled People is celebrated annually, aimed at paying attention of the whole society to the needs and problems of people with disabilities.

The Administration of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage headed by N.Abduvahidova and A.Tuktamishev visited children who are studying at home and wished them success in their studies, good health and a high life with achievements.

The purpose of World AIDS Day, which is celebrated annually on December 1, is to raise global awareness about HIV/AIDS and demonstration of International solidarity in the face of a pandemic.

On this day, tutors of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage visited the student dormitory. During discussion, students received information about disease and were able to discuss various risks of infection.

It is worth noting that holding such events helps young people to take care of their health and the health of the future generation.

     On December 1, 2021, within the framework of the International AIDS Day, the chairman of the Women's Council of the University M.Abbasova, psychologist D.Turdieva and doctor S.Tosheva held a round table in the student dormitory No. 5.

     M.Abbasova gave to the girls a lecture on morality and spiritual improvement. Doctor of the highest category S.Tosheva told the girls about the medical side of this urgent problem, gave valuable advice and recommendations on prevention. Psychologist D.Turdieva shared her views on the psychological aspects of the disease. She also noted that in any situation, students will be provided with psychological assistance. At the end of the conversation, girls received constructive answers to their questions.

The student of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Alisher Oripov, gave about 20 books to the University Library from his personal one. Currently, Alisher is studying for a Master’s degree in tourism hospitality and event management.

On December 1 of this year, at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage hosted a solemn ceremony of awarding the title of Honorary Doctor of the University to Chairman of the Indonesia Halal lifestyle Center (IHLC), Senior Lecturer at Sahid University (Indonesia) Dr.Sapta Nirwandar.

The award ceremony was opened by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, a graduate of Harvard University in the USA, Oxford University in the UK and Heidelberg University in Germany, Prof.J.Hoffmann, who in his welcoming speech noted that it is a great honor for the University to see such an outstanding person as Sapta Nirwandar among the Honorary Doctors of the University.

At the Assembly Hall of the University was held a guest lecture on topic: "Halal Lifestyle Trend and Bussiness Opportunity". Later, a video about the development of Tourism in Indonesia was shown to the students of the University.

At the end of the lecture, the parties exchanged with memorable gifts, and the guest presented to the University Library a huge number of books on marketing, economics and business.

At the end of the visit was organized a tour of the University campus for the guest of honor.

On the first day of winter - December 1, 2021, an action dedicated to the campaign “16 days of active action against violence” was held at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

The event organized by the initiative of the Chairwoman of the Women's Council of the University M.Abbasova and psychologist D.Turdieva, gave all participants a good mood and a positive attitude in the morning. The action was an unexpected surprise for many participants and caused a storm of positive emotions. Participants were asked to answer psychological and motivational questions, which brought a smile on their faces.

Today, everyone is in a hurry somewhere, no one has time to talk, to say a kind word, even to smile is not always possible. And therefore, such events reflect the kindness, responsiveness, sensitivity, which still keep our hearts.

The First Vice-Rector of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage,  Doctor of Philology, author of dozens of books and philology-related articles, Prof.J.D.Eltazarov, has restocked the Library of the University with books of Linguistics, Philology, and Turkish language.

Today, on November 30 of this year, on the basis of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage is being held the 1st International Scientific and Practical Conference "Russian language and culture in the focus of modern educational technologies" organized with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

   At the beginning of the Conference, took place an open screening of a documentary about the life and work of F.M.Dostoevsky, after which, the participants gathered at a round table in the Assembly Hall of the University. There was also a panel discussion where the participants made their reports, answering all the questions of their colleagues.

Topics of discussion were methods of  teaching Russian as a foreign language, successful experience in organizing Russian language teaching abroad, and issues of intercultural interaction.

At the end of the conference, the participants were awarded certificates.

We would like to note that holding an International Conference which has a scientific and practical nature, with the participation of authoritative and competent scientists and world-class specialists, has a positive effect on strengthening and further development of intercultural interaction.
