Shohnigorbegim Jurayeva, 4th year student, an active member of "Girls" club organized under the “Women’s Council” of “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, leader of “Young booklovers and poet” is known as a young talented poet and knowledgeable in Tourism studies. 

She has many poems that makes people think desparately. The works of our poet student were published in regional and republican literary publications. Now she is participant of literary circle in Samarkand and is being recognized with her poems and translations.

         Shohnigorbegim Juraeva studies with high grades in the direction of Tourism, as well as active participant of social work and club as “Young booklovers and poets” at the university. 

On November 23 of this year she participated in residing poem contest and the presentation of poetic collections " Surur ", " Umr karvoni " of Toshpulat Urxun, the chairman of the regional department of Uzbekistan Writers association.

         That literary party was presented on regional television. Talented Shokhnigorbegim Juraeva, a student of our university, took part in the show with her poems and translations actively.

Five talented female students of the club “Kizlarjon” and “Girls Leaders”, organized by the Women’s Advisory Council of our university, got a chance to participate in the regional stage of the State Award named after Zulfiya in various directions. Sabina Mustafakulova, a 3rd year student in the direction of science, Mukaddas Sadinova in the direction of culture, Fatima, Zuhro Bakhromkulova in the direction of public and Shakhnigorbegim Zhuraeva, a 4th year student in the direction of literature, were recognized as winners and also took part in the regional stage. At the moment their participation is considered by members of the jury. We wish the students of our university success.

On November 27 of this year, a group of students of academic lyceum of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages had excursion in our university. Pirnazar Islamov, a tutor of our university, familiarized the students with the conditions of education, told them about the educational process, scientific and pedagogical activities, forms and types of education.

On November 28 of this year, the head of department of the State Committee for Competition Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan F.Madaminov and Deputy Head of Samarkand Regional Administration J.Ashurov organized a training seminar on consumer protection and financial literacy. Participants got acquainted with the benefits of legal literacy at the seminar. At the event, students and young people received answers to their questions in the form of sincere communication.

 The seminar provided several tips on what problems students may face as consumers and how to solve them.

Today, our university has formed a separate list to provide practical support to students and women with social protection and disability. This is done in order to be able to provide practical support to the layer that constantly needs social protection. On 27 November of this year, together with the university management, women’s advisory council and the trade union primary organization of the university, practical assistance was provided to some students in need of social assistance, teachers, technical staff and cleanliness women who are low-income.

The scientific research department of “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage announces a competition of scientific articles on the topic “New Constitution – Encyclopedia of Development” for employees, teachers and students of the university. Based on the results of the competition, 3 places with the best written articles will be determined and the authors will be awarded.

In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks defined by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers and the relevant order by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation the period of winter vacation for the current academic year is from 25th of December, 2023 to January 7, 2024 for the students of higher educational institutions, technical schools, colleges, vocational schools and academic lyceums.

According to the academic calendar of the university, winter school for BA students is going to be held on January 8-19, 2024, and classes begin on January 22, 2024.

For MA students, classes begin on January 15, 2024.
