On 19 April 2023, a propaganda event was held under the slogan “The Constitution is mine, yours, yours. The Constitution is ours!” at “Silk Road“ International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. During the event, First Vice Rector J.Eltazarov said that the role of the updated Constitution in the life of our country, the additions and amendments made will serve to further the prosperity of the way of life of our people, the growth of human dignity.
First vice-rector J.Eltazarov said that the duty of every citizen is to take an active part in the people's elections - a referendum on amending the Constitution of Uzbekistan with the understanding that the Constitution belongs to all of us, and that university students and young people should actively participate in the referendum to be held on April 30.

Professors and teachers of the “Languages” department of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage visited the Samarkand regional orphanage and learned about the condition of the children.
Showing children enough affection, treating them politely, saying affectionate words and having fun is both a duty and a fard for adults!
“Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage has a total of 880 students. It also has a total of 38 teaching staff.
On 18 April 2023, the University Sports Club organised a volleyball competition between staff and students for the purpose of developing a healthy lifestyle at “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and for the meaningful organisation of outside academic hours for students.
In total, 50 teachers and students of “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage took part in the sporting event.
On 14 April 2023, “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage held a legal advocacy event on the theme “We are against corruption” under the guidance of J.Eltazarov, First Vice-Rector of the University. The Heads of Faculties, Heads of Departments and students of the university took part in it. First vice-rector J.Eltazarov spoke at the opening of the event, noting that extensive work is carried out to raise legal awareness and legal culture of students and youth, the formation of an uncompromising attitude to corruption in society, the fight against corruption in all spheres of life of state and society. During the event M.Rozigov “Integrity Vaccine. How is it inoculated?”, M.Abbasova, Chairwoman of the Women’s Council of the University, talked about the adoption of “Women’s Education Support Program for 2022-2026”, N.Abduvahidova, Head of the Department of Quarterly Work and Activities with Youth, participated in a lecture on “Legal Literacy - Criterion of Spiritual Maturity”.
Surely, we are a great nation with great national and religious values and national traditions. Human qualities such as faith, conscience, honour, shame, bashfulness, dishonesty, pride, courage, patience, tolerance, hospitality and honesty have long been formed in our people. All of these qualities are considered to be our national values and spirituality. For this reason, it is very important that we support, develop and constantly instil them in the hearts of our children!
In our country, special attention is paid to popularization of sports, especially to the development of children's and women's sports. The main goal of this is that the children of Uzbekistan are born healthy, grow up, get education and improve the gene pool of the nation.
In this regard, “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage regularly organizes public sports events.
On the 14th of April of this year, the Women's Advisory Council of the University organized the “Running” marathon in order to create a healthy lifestyle among women, prevent various diseases, and promote the importance of mass sports in human life.
Thanks to the attention paid to young students at the university, their place in every field, achievements, and victories are the product of this attention. Also, events and contests of great educational importance are held regularly.
In this regard, on April 17 of this year, living conditions of girls living on rent in the private dormitory No. 4 belonging to SamSIFL were studied by the chairwoman of the Council of Women and Girls of “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage M. Abbasova and tutor G. Khusainova. In the course of this study, the representatives of the university conducted explanatory work for the female students living in the private dormitory on how to eat on time and pay attention to their health.
The theme of the regular meetings held by the Women's Council among female students is “Share Kindness, Show Goodwill”, and girls were advised to respect each other and not to be deceived by others. The meeting, which took place in the form of a debate on this topic, allowed our girls to express their thoughts and showed how advanced, deep and independent they are. They answered questions such as “What is our duty to the family?”, “Are you ready for family life?”, “What should be the role of a man in the family?”, “Your attitude to the concepts of family and marriage”, “Do you know about family conflicts and their types?”, “Explain the concepts of betrayal and loyalty”.
M. Abbasova, G. Husainova gave valuable advice and recommendations to the girls based on their life experiences. On the other hand, they called to appreciate and protect the so-called family fortress, consider it sacred, and be responsible.
Also, during the dialogue, individual interviews were conducted with female students. The opinions and suggestions of the girls regarding their respective situations were heard and the rooms were analyzed in the nominations “The neatest room” and “The most exemplary girl”.
At the invitation of Vice Rector Professor Tony Zou, the Chief of Marketing Department Ms Turjanova Elvina, and Senior Sales Manager Ms Intizor Sapaeva of Amirsoy Resort jointly hosted a seminar on “Development of best resort in Central Asia”. Two managers gave an introduction to the development of Amirsoy, the only and the best ski resort in Uzbekistan. They described the target markets, market positioning, facilities, activities, services and operation of the resort, also those two managers outlined the business strategies of Amirsoy related with dealing with seasonality, sustainability and Amirsoy is a world-class all-season mountain resort in Uzbekistan that meets modern standards of comfort, quality and safety. It contribute greatly to Uzbekistan tourism economy, especially in low seasons, also the quality and standards of service and operation of Amirsoy set a benchmark for the tourism industry in Uzbekistan. Vice Rector Zou also discuss with two managers about the cooperation between Silk Road tourism and cultural heritage international University and Amirsoy Resort, two parties are willing to collaborate in the fields of student internships, field research, joint seminars, student employment and industrial advisors.

08.00.17-Qualification examination in the specialty subject "Tourism and hotel management" was approved by the Decision No. 220/2 dated February 17, 2016 of the Directorate of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It will be conducted in accordance with the Regulation "On the Procedure for Conducting Qualification Examinations" and in accordance with the qualification examination program for the specialty 08.0017-"Tourism and Hotel Operations" (the program is attached).
