At the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, Rector of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage – A.A. Abdukhakimov, on May 26 this year, the Chairman of the Uzbek-Japanese Innovation Center of Youth (UJICY) Nargiza Amirova and the Japanese specialist Yunikori Yanakida visited the Silk Road University.
The guests of honor were introduced to the unique educational system of the University, innovative solutions in educational processes. Mr. Yunikori Yanakida, impressed by the University’s capabilities, noted that the University innovation model is progressing noticeably and is able to compete with Japanese counterparts.
In addition, the First vice-rector of the University, prof. J. Eltazarov, had a conversation with representatives of UJICY, as a result of which the parties agreed to establish bilateral relations, integrate innovative programs into the education system at the University.
Also, for the guests of honor was organized a tour of the University Library, in which Japanese literature occupies a special place.
According to Mr. Yunikori Yanakida, the Silk Road University has all the opportunities for the harmonious development of students, familiarization with Japanese culture and learning the Japanese language.
