On September 9 this year, a delegation led by the Chairman of the Council of People's Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof.Puan Maharani, who arrived in our country to participate in the 14th Summit of women leaders of parliaments of the member states of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, visited the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the activities of the “Silk Road” University, within the framework of the development of Uzbek-Indonesian relations in the field of education and tourism.

The guest of honor was met by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the “Silk Road” University A.Abdukhakimov.

Accompanied by Aziz Abdukhakimov, Professor Puan Maharani got acquainted with the activities of the university, she was provided with detailed information about the results of cooperation with international universities and tourism organizations.
