In order to promote the reading of books in the SOS Children's mahalla together with the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and the Samarkand branch of IT-Park was held an event “Book-the light of knowledge” for the childrens of the SOS non-profit organization "Children's Village of Uzbekistan". The event was organized on the initiative of a talented student of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism Shakhlo Khamrokulova. In this project, together with the University and the Children's Town, new books are provided to children every 3 weeks, as well as reviews and surveys on the issued books are conducted, and memorable gifts are awarded in conclusion. In addition, on the initiative of students Shakhlo Khamrokulova and Sabrina Mamatkulova, were organized English language courses in the SOS children's town, on the initiative of Zafarbek Khamrokulov were organized classes "Sambo", as well as courses "Computer Literacy" and "Robotics" were organized by an employee of the IT-Park Bekmurod Shukurov.
