On September 17 of this year, representatives of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) paid a working visit to the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism.
Within the framework of the program “Support for economic reforms and sustainable economic development in the regions of Uzbekistan”, representatives of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) got acquainted with the educational and practical laboratories of the University. During the meeting in detail was discussed the program for the implementation of joint projects in scientific, technical and educational areas.
Special attention was paid to the issues of providing practical training for university students and further cooperation in the field of tourism.
It is worth noting that within the framework of international cooperation with Uzbekistan, GIZ supports reforms in the field of economy, health, education, in the field of natural resources protection, as well as the development of social and cultural integrations. Within the framework of economic development, the sphere of tourism development is of particular importance. At the same time, GIZ supports the reform processes through professional training programs leading to advanced training of managers.
