On September 22, within the framework of the International Day without Car, the staff of the “Silk Road” University of Tourism supported the initiative of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan-Minister of Tourism and Sports, Rector of the University Aziz Abdukhakimov, and took an active part in a number of events.

It is worth recalling that according to the government decree, September 22 in our country is declared: “Car-Free Day”. This is the day when all motorists are invited to abandon the use of their vehicles for at least 24 hours and move on foot or by bicycle.

This will reduce the emissions of harmful gases into the atmosphere and thereby contribute to improving the environmental situation on the planet.

Today, it is impossible to completely abandon cars but you need to remember at least once a year about the problems that motor transport brings with it. This is the main idea of the annual Car-free Day.
