Kindness will save the world!

The “Silk Road” International University of Tourism has many talented and enterprising students, and one of the brave students is Amir Mardonov, a 3rd-year student of the direction of “Event Management”.

We all know that in recent months, due to the coronavirus pandemic around the world, quarantine measures have also been strengthened in our country. But despite the various risks, Amir took an active part in the fight against the disease, working as a volunteer in the Samarkand regional distribution center.

It should be noted that Amir Mardonov participates in many International conferences and forums as part of his volunteer work. In particular, he participated as a volunteer in the “II Millennium Festival” (Tashkent, 2019) and the “Sharq Taronalari” music festival in 2019 year. In addition, thanks to his knowledge and efforts, he achieved high results in the competition among students of the “Silk Road” University and completed a two-week internship in Indonesia on a grant basis.

“Seeing the generosity and support shown to the people by our esteemed President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, I am proud to be the son of the great Uzbek nation. Therefore, I decided to make a small, but very significant contribution to the fight against coronavirus in our city. I am very glad that I was a volunteer in the Samarkand regional distribution center, because for me it was a great experience in volunteering”, - says Amir Mardonov.

The dual system of training is a type of training in which the student receives theoretical knowledge in an educational institution, and practical skills – at the workplace. The main idea of dual training is to achieve the quality of professional training of students that meets the requirements of the labor market by combining the efforts and resources of educational institutions and employers as a driving force for practice-oriented training.

For a more detailed introduction to the innovative system of training at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism, a training seminar was held, organized by the director of the Training and Production Center (TPC) Mukhamednazarova I.V.

The concept of dual education and its advantages for both students and employers were also presented.

The concept of the dual system of vocational education is based on the strengthening of practical orientation in the training of specialists through the synthesis of educational and industrial processes, which significantly increases the possibility of professional mobility of graduates of educational institutions. The dual system is an effective and flexible mechanism that allows educational institutions to train highly qualified specialists who are in demand in modern conditions of the market economy by enterprises of various fields of activity. No education is able to provide such knowledge of production from the inside as dual training, which makes it an important step on the way to a successful career.
