Adib hayoti haqida. 1942-yil 1-martda Andijon viloyatining Bo‘ston tumani Beshkal qishlog‘ida dehqon oilasida tug‘ilgan. 1959-yilda Toshkent viloyati Bekobod tumanida Navoiy nomidagi o‘rta maktabni bitirdi. so‘ngra Bekobod qum-shag‘al karerida saralovchi(sortirovщik) щN ishladi. Moskvadagi A.M.Gorkiy nomidagi Adabiyot institutida tahsil oldi(1960-66). Bir yil akademik otpusk davrida Andijon va Farg‘ona viloyatlari maktablarida o‘qituvchilik qildi(1962- 63).

• Adib ijodi haqida. Muhammad Ali adabiyotga yigirmanchi asrning 50-yillari oxirida kirib keldi. Dastlabki she’ri o‘n besh yoshida 1957-yil 17-fevralda “Qizil O‘zbekiston” gazetasida bosilgan edi. Ayni paytgacha adibning turli tillarda turli janrlarda nazm, nasr va tarjimalardan iborat 50 dan ortiq kitoblari nashr etilgan. 1997-yilda o‘n ming nusxada “Saylanma” kitobi bosilib chiqdi. 2011-12-yillarda adibning ko‘p tomlik “Tanlangan asarlar”i nashr etila boshlandi. Hozirgacha dastlabki ikki tomi o‘quvchilar qo‘liga yetib bordi. 2016-yilda shoirning she’r va dostonlaridan iborat “Ko‘ngil naylari” nomli yangi kitobi dunyo yuzini ko‘rdi. Chunonchi, mustamlaka davrida yozilgan, katta shov- shuvlarga sabab bo‘lgan “O‘z-o‘zingni anglab yet” essesida adib jasorat bilan 1985-89-yillarda nohaq zulmu tazyiqlar ostida qisinib qolgan ona xalqini o‘z-o‘zini anglab yetishga, tarixi ulug‘ xalq ekanini hamisha yodda tutish va undan madad olishga chaqirdi, boshini baland ko‘tarib yurishga undadi.

University continues to consistently develop academic and practical cooperation with leading German international organizations. In this context, Eiko Otto, consultant for tourism and regional development of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) visited our university.

During the visit, Mr. Eiko Otto raised the issue of developing cooperation in the direction of sustainable tourism with the management of our university and the department of tourism. During the conversation, it was mentioned about the possibilities of attracting professors and teachers of the prestigious Vienna University of Austria and leading European universities to our university and implementing joint projects.

This meeting was a practical expression of our university's aspirations to expand the scope of international cooperation, to create opportunities for students to exchange knowledge and experience at a global level. 

In 2007, he graduated from the Faculty of Uzbek Philology of the National University of Uzbekistan. His first story - "The Old Man Who Can't Be a Gypsy" was published in the 1st issue of the "Youth" magazine in 2010. The writer's stories and essays "Kizghaldok", "The night the storm stopped", "The forgotten person", "The person looking at the road" were published.

His collections of stories "The Night the Storm Stilled" and "People Without Worries" were published.

Also, several stories of Nurilla Chori were published in Turkish language in the magazine "Kardosh Kalamlar".

Today, November 21, the dean of the university N. Khushvaktov, inspector Sh. Kurbanov and tutor P. Islamov were in the student dormitory and closely communicated with students. In the process of communication, the inspector gave necessary advice on further improvement of spiritual situation between students, prevention of some conflict situations that may arise. They also familiarized with the living conditions of students and young people, the processes of preparation for the lesson processes. During the conversation they agreed on organizational issues on holding sports competitions and intellectual games of wit among students in the dormitory, listened to the proposals of students.

On November 18 of this year in Samarkand campus of the International Academy of Tourism together with the Association of Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic "Destination Osh" held Uzbek-Kyrgyz Tourism Forum.

The main purpose of the forum is to increase the flow of interregional tourists, development of educational tourism. In recent years, the expansion of close friendly ties between the two neighboring countries has had a positive impact on the tourism sector, creating new tourist routes in the region and laying the foundation for further intensification of mutual cultural exchange.

The event featured presentations on the tourism potential of Samarkand and Osh regions. Information was provided on tourist routes of the two regions, infrastructural opportunities and quality of services provided. Also during the event new cooperation projects, joint tourism programs and additional opportunities for attracting tourists were discussed, contracts were signed between entrepreneurs working in the field of tourism from both countries.

At the end of the forum a memorandum of cooperation between Samarkand and Osh regions was signed, and further agreement was reached to work on new projects between the regions in the field of tourism.

On November 16, 2024 at 14:30 the scientific seminar of the Scientific Council under the number DSc.33/01.02.2022.I.145.01 on awarding scientific degrees in economic sciences under “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage started its work.

The scientific seminar discussed the thesis of Rozibayev Otabek Mardon ugli, basic doctoral student of Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov, 08.00.17 - “Improvement of the economic mechanism of the development of gastronomic tourism in the regions” on specialty “Tourism and hotel activity” for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in economic sciences.

At this seminar, the basic doctoral student presented his research to the members of the Scientific Council and university professors. In the course of his research he reported on the problems in the sphere of gastronomic tourism today, on the methods of development of this direction in the regions, as well as on the possibilities of increasing the flow of tourists to the region through the development of gastronomic tourism, based on his scientific research using modern science-based methods.

Presentation of the basic doctoral student Rozibayev Otabek Mardon ugli was positively received by the participants and recommended for defense at the Scientific Council.

Kamoliddin Baykobilov, a lecturer of the Department of Translation and Interpretation Studies of our university, organized a trip to the Minyoun Hotel at the Tourism Center for the students of the 224th and 124th groups studying the Chinese language in order to conduct theory and practice.

During the trip, the students attended a tea ceremony and had the opportunity to learn about the cultural heritage and lifestyle of the Chinese people. During the tea ceremony, our students also observed the skill of tea master and beautiful tea bowls.

On November 20, 2024, in order to spend free time of female students of our university in a useful way, table tennis competitions were organized among female students of 1-2 years. In the competition the students of both courses fought a hard sports battle.

The purpose of such sports games is to increase the interest of students and youth to sports and selection of talented and agile students to participate in sports competitions of city, regional, national level.

Today, November 20, members of the delegation led by Pedro Vargas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Euronews TV channel, who arrived in Samarkand, also visited "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. The guests carefully familiarized with the conditions created for foreign and local students studying tourism and cultural heritage, as well as toured the modern campus of the university. The guest Pedro Vargas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Euronews TV channel, gave an interview to the department of public relations and press of our university, in which he told about his warm impressions of the university.

On November 15, 2024 a delegation from South Korea, representing the Korea Heritage Agency, visited “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage to discuss collaborative efforts in cultural heritage preservation and tourism development. 

The delegation, led by Seo Ji-yeong, the International Cooperation Project Team representative of the Korea Heritage Agency, included Park Sook-jin, President of the Korea Tourism Development Institute; Kim Sieun, CEO of the Korea-ASEAN Lab; and Park Soo-in, a researcher from the same organization. 

The meeting took place at 14:00 and was attended by the university’s Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Innovation, alongside the heads of the International Cooperation Department and the History and Cultural Heritage Department. 

During the visit, the Korean delegation shared updates on their ongoing cultural heritage project in Samarkand. A significant highlight was their development of a comprehensive theoretical book on conservation science, a project that has been in progress for three years and was recently translated into Uzbek. Discussions revolved around strategies for implementing the book in academic and practical contexts to enhance heritage preservation efforts. 

The delegation also explored opportunities for future cooperation, particularly focusing on leveraging Samarkand’s rich cultural heritage as a resource for sustainable tourism. They emphasized the importance of knowledge exchange between South Korean and Uzbek experts to achieve this goal. 

The visit concluded with discussions on deepening academic collaboration, organizing joint projects, and fostering expertise in heritage conservation and tourism development, ensuring mutual benefits for both nations. 

This visit marks another step in strengthening cultural and academic ties between Uzbekistan and South Korea, reflecting a shared commitment to preserving global heritage.
