In order to ensure the implementation of our President’s decree on “Measures to further improve the system of training qualified personnel in vocational education and the introduction of international educational programs,” leading professors of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage visited the Khiva Tourism and Cultural Heritage Technical School assigned to the university.
During the visit, the university professors familiarized themselves with the conditions created at the technical school and held meetings with students.
Additionally, discussions were held and practical assistance was provided to analyze normative documents for vocational specialties and introduce modern educational and methodological approaches for the staff of the technical school.
Within the framework of cooperation, university professors and technical school teachers agreed on future work, including conducting scientific research together, organizing online lessons and seminars for technical school students in vocational subjects.

Fayoz Kushakov, the head of the Investment Attraction Department of Jizzakh region, gave a lecture on "The Tourism Potential of Jizzakh Region" to tourism and culture leaders.
The speaker initially introduced the tourism potential and development of Jizzakh region, emphasizing the promotion of the region's tourism market, the development of tourist routes, improving the quality of services, and future plans for expansion.
The lecture was conducted by the university's Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Prof. Tony Zou. Students of the university participated in the event and actively engaged in discussions on tourism development issues.
Today, on March 24th, the psychologist of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, D. Turdiyeva, and tutor M. Tilavov jointly organized a psychological training titled "The Emotions That Control Us" for the first-year students of the International Relations program, group IR-124.
To determine the current mental state of the students and their attitude toward themselves in different situations, the "Man Under the Rain" projective method was used in practice. This is an effective psychological technique that reveals the behavior of individuals in stressful, uncomfortable life situations. The "Emotion Relay" game, on the other hand, brought the students an uplifting mood and proved to be an excellent tool against psycho emotional stress.
Today,on March 24,intergroup qualifying chess tournaments were organized among the students of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. These tournaments are aimed at preparing the university community for competitions at the city, regional, and national levels.
On March 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM, a table tennis tournament will be held among students.

The "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage , in collaboration with the Compliance Control department and the tutors, organized a roundtable discussion on the topic "Corruption-Free Educational Institution" with the participation of students from the Marketing-124 group. During the roundtable discussion, which aimed at ensuring transparency between students and professors, some issues encountered among students were examined, necessary recommendations were provided, and positive solutions were found for their requests.
Attention to final-year students of Bachelor's and Master's degree programs!
Guidelines for writing diploma projects and Master's theses for final-year students in the 2024/2025 academic year, as well as the Final State Attestation programs for students in the external education form, are being announced.
Students who have registered for the Winter School have started classes according to the schedule from February 17, 2025. The classes are held in the traditional (offline) format. Students who have missed classes or were unable to contact with a teacher should urgently meet with the department heads and tutors.
A seminar was held at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage for students and teachers within the framework of the “My.gov.uz for real-life situations” project. During the seminar, detailed information was provided about the "One Million Programmers" project and its opportunities for students. The concept of obtaining certificates in various fields through the Coursera online education platform was also explained.
