On November 6, within the framework of the International Charity Half Marathon – Samarkand Half Marathon was held a conference on the topic “Inclusion in employment” in the Conference Hall of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. The conference participants drew public attention to the issues of employment of people with various forms of disability. Representatives of one of the leading cultural institutions of Russia presented implemented projects and initiatives aimed at creating an inclusive environment during the discussion. Special attention was paid to the existing experience of employment of people with disabilities in local and international private companies, the definition of existing opportunities and restrictions in the legislation of the country to attract people with disabilities.

At the end of the conference, a screening of the film “Equilibrium” directed by I.Ikramov and Z.Mirzalieva.

One of the important changes in the life of the University in 2021 is the replenishment of the fund of our University's Library in such areas as tourism, cultural heritage, history, art, media, archaeology, linguistics, ethnography, ethnology, geopolitics and geostrategy. As you know, one of the sources of the Library's book fund is charity. The other day, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage A.Abdukhakimov presented the Library of the International University of Tourism with an excellent collection of books. The books provided rare scientific sources containing the latest research in the field of museology, history, art and culture. The collection consists of books brought by the Rector from near and far abroad, including books from the personalibrary fund. Students and teachers of the University express their sincere gratitude to the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the "Silk Road" University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage A. Abdukhakimov for generous gifts. We are sure that the donated books will not only find their place on the bookshelves, but also their readers.

The formation of a healthy spiritual environment in the system of higher, secondary specialized and vocational education, the protection of honor and dignity, rights and legitimate interests of female students is a priority task of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

The President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Kitaoka Shinichi held an online lecture for students of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. The lecture was organized within the framework of the cooperation program agreed between the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Speaker prof. Kitaoka Shinichi spoke about the culture of the Japanese people, as well as about the democratic processes and future cooperation programs of the university with JICA. In particular, they talked about the opening of the JICA department at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. The students took an active part and received answers to their questions.

3rd year student of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Amirbek Mirzaev developed the author's feedback automation system FEEDBACKPRO.

FEEDBACKPRO is an author's software that allows you to smoothly receive feedback, complaints and suggestions by digitally questioning consumers and directly convey them to management, displaying a monthly consolidated report. Collecting feedback from customers helps determine how satisfied consumers are with your products or services and identify areas for further improvement.

Our product in the field of automation covers a fairly wide segment, including the HORECA direction:

-Hotels

- Restaurants

- State institutions

- Fast food outlets

- Pharmacies

- Railway and air ticket offices

At the moment we offer 5 methods of collecting and processing feedback from consumers:

1. FEEDBACKPRO Software

It is installed in the form of an info kiosk or tablet in the institution itself

Women are always under protection!

 On November 3 this year the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road" held a round table on "Protection of women from violence, suicide prevention, promotion of healthy lifestyles.

The event was opened by the Chairman of the Women's Council of the University, M. Abbasova, who emphasized that the legitimate interests of women in our society are protected by the state. And she also noted that this event is held in the framework of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which is held annually on November 25.

     The experts invited to the round table - Lieutenant Colonel D. Hatamova, Lieutenant Colonel Z. Sharapova of Samarkand Department of Internal Affairs analyzed the legal aspects of oppression, physical and sexual violence against women, which today is a crucial problem.  The Director of the Regional Reproductive Center U. Boborakhimova talked about the reproductive health of female students. Head of the Youth Affairs Department N.Abduvakhidova shared constructive advice and recommendations for students on the conditions created in the university, the learning process, the solution of social problems.

      University psychologist D. Turdiyeva made a presentation on "Psychological assistance to women victims of violence". She gave detailed information about psychological, medical, social, economic and legal aspects of forms of violence - harassment, bullying, abuse and subsequent cases - suicide. Concluding the event, the President of the Women's Council M. Abbasova highlighted the importance of conducting such meetings, the support and protection provided by the university for female students and employees.
