Today, on March 12, a meeting was organized with A. Jo'rayev, a doctor from the Regional HIV/AIDS Prevention Center, to provide students with essential information on promoting a healthy lifestyle and raising awareness about HIV/AIDS, which has become a global issue. During the roundtable discussion, the specialist provided detailed information on HIV infection and ways to prevent it.
On March 12, a tutor-organized event called "Awareness Hour" was dedicated to the topic "The Role of Women and Girls in Society in the Formation of the Third Renaissance Generation in New Uzbekistan." M. Abbasova, the Chairwoman of the Women's Council of the University, was invited to the event. M. Abbasova spoke about the increasing activity of women in the fields of science, education, and spirituality, emphasizing the state's legal and social support for their participation in these processes, and provided necessary advice to the female students.
On March 12th, physical training exercises, volleyball, and national games were organized among students residing at our university's student dormitory under the slogan "We are for a healthy lifestyle." The purpose of this event was to promote a healthy lifestyle among students.
On March 12th, the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage’s preventive inspector Sh. Qurbonov conducted preventive activities with students at the student dormitory. During the conversation, necessary recommendations were given on matters such as maintaining etiquette while walking and standing in public places, showing mutual respect in interactions with other students, and preventing situations that could lead to offenses.
Additionally, during the conversation, further suggestions were provided to students and dormitory officials regarding food safety in the student dormitory.
An international conference titled "Science and Education – A Bridge Between Uzbekistan and France" was held in the capital of France, Paris. The main goal of this event was to develop mutual relations between the countries and strengthen cooperation in the field of education.
As part of the event, the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage held negotiations with YSchools University in Paris on implementing mobility projects under the Erasmus+ program. Additionally, discussions were conducted with Sorbonne Paris Nord University on involving French specialists in university lectures.

The group tutor of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, M. Tilavov, visited the student rental apartments, held a close conversation with the students, and thoroughly examined the living conditions. He provided recommendations on the necessary use of communal services.
On March 10, a team consisting of professors, teachers, and staff from the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage visited historical sites in Bukhara. This visit, organized by the university administration and the primary organization of the trade union, included visits to significant landmarks such as Labi Hovuz, Bukhara Ark Fortress, the Minaret of Kalon, Sitorai Mohi Khossa, and the Bahauddin Naqshband complex.
An intellectual game "Zakovat" was organized at the dormitory of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage under the slogan "We, the youth, are against mass culture." In this intellectual game, which took place between teams formed by dormitory students, the participants answered various types of questions in teams. At the end of the game, the winners were awarded souvenir gifts and certificates.
The university representatives have started their participation in the third coordination seminar of project partners within the framework of the Erasmus+ program "QUARTZ – Quality assurance for reform and transformation of HEIs in Uzbekistan" scheduled to take place on March 10-14 this year at the University of L'Aquila (Italy). The goal is to study the advanced experience of European countries and facilitate mutual exchange of expertise.
