On the occasion of 'National Clothing Day' every Friday in our republic, we ask our university professors, staff, and students to actively participate in this campaign.

In order to organize free time of our university students in a meaningful way, various events and competitions are being held at the Student Dormitory. On February 23 of this year, a football competition was organized among the students residing in our university's Student Dormitory, under the leadership of tutor P. Islomov. In the intense competition, the students were divided into teams and played accordingly.

On February 25, 2025, a badminton competition was held between 1st and 4th-year students and master's students in the sports hall of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

Professors and students of "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage are participating in summer training courses specialized in tourism education organized by Gunadarma University of Indonesia. During the training courses, students participate in master classes dedicated to the Indonesian language and culture, tourism opportunities. Teachers and students are closely familiar with the educational and scientific activities of Gunadarma University in the field of tourism

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations has decided to expand the activities of student theater studios in higher education institutions and to hold a theater studio republic competition-festival among them. 

The upper stages of the competition-festival will be organized in the form of a telecasting contest and a television show. 

The teams that take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at the republic stage of the event will be awarded a one-time cash prize of 100, 70, and 50 times the basic calculation amount, respectively. 

Those who wish to participate in the competition are asked to contact the Department of Work with Youth and Events in the local community at room 235.

On February 26 of the current year, the interview process for candidates applying for independent research studies (PhD, DSc) for the second quarter of 2025 will be held at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

The interviews for candidates who have submitted documents for independent research studies (PhD, DSc) at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage will be conducted based on the examination programs for specialized subjects (examination programs for each specialty are attached).

Candidates are required to arrive at the interview venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time with an identity document (passport).

On February 24, 2025, the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage invited Mr. Cheng Xulong, the Chairman of Xinjiang Chunqiu International Travel Service Co., Ltd. to speak at the 7^th Tourism and Culture Leaders Lecture Hall on "Chinese Tourists' Consumption Behavior in Central Asia".

Mr. Cheng Xulong introduced the outbound tourism development in China, and highlighted the consumer behavior of Chinese tourist in Central Asia. Also Chairman Cheng explained the growth experience of Xinjiang Chunqiu Travel Service Co., Ltd. Participants discussed with the Director about issues such as market demand analysis, customer acquisition strategies, service quality improvement, and future expansion plans.

The seminar was moderated by Vice rector and Professor Tony Zou, students majoring in tourism management of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage attended this seminar, and actively participated in the discussion about the development of tourism in Central Asia with Chinese tourists as the main target group. The speaker and attendants exchanges their opinions on how to attract more Chinese tourists to visit Uzbekistan and promote local economic development.

Today, on 24 February, the psychologist of “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage D. Turdieva and tutor P. Islamov organised an event in the group 124, studying in the direction “Marketing” of the 1st year.

At the meeting, which took place in the format of a training session, cooperation between tutor and psychologist was discussed. D. Turdieva applied in practice psychological methods helping students to understand the world through self-acceptance. These psychologically corrective practices contribute to the elimination of guilt in a person, to the formation of the skill of adequate attitude to oneself, self-acceptance in any situation.

The training made a positive impression on all participants, laying the foundation for the development of motivation and formation of psychological resources.

In the competition, 13 teams competed against each other. The competition included tasks such as logical questions, cartoons, tug-of-war, and national values. At the end of the competition, the winners were  awarded.

The delegation of the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road” has arrived in London to take part in the prestigious international conference London International Model United Nations (LIMUN) 2025.

Students and faculty members of our university are actively participating in LIMUN committees, discussing current global issues, and proposing innovative solutions. Participation in this event contributes to the development of diplomatic skills, critical thinking, and international cooperation.
