The event was attended by the youth leader of the university S. Khaidarov, Chairman of the Women’s Council of the University M.Abbasova and the teacher of the Department of Languages and Global Studies Z.Bektemirov, who expressed their opinion about the negative consequences of drug addiction and the need for everyone to be aware of to protect our youth.
During the round table, the participants discussed the formation of immunity against drug addiction among women and young people; the formation of intolerant attitudes towards the use of hard drugs among schoolchildren and students; proposals were made for the introduction of propaganda and educational and preventive mechanisms aimed at preventing the spread of psychoactive substances in higher education institutions

The University delegation participated in the first working seminar with project partners within the ERASMUS+ project ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE 101127171 titled "QUARTZ – Quality Assurance for Reform and Transformation of HEIs in Uzbekistan" to learn from the experiences of European countries and exchange experiences at the Varna University of Management, Varna, Bulgaria from June 18-21 of the current year.The University delegation participated in the first working seminar with project partners within the ERASMUS+ project ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE 101127171 titled "QUARTZ – Quality Assurance for Reform and Transformation of HEIs in Uzbekistan" to learn from the experiences of European countries and exchange experiences at the Varna University of Management, Varna, Bulgaria from June 18-21 of the current year.During the seminar, representatives from the university provided detailed information to partner universities about the achievements and future plans being implemented at the university. As part of the "QUARTZ" project, the university team was assigned the task of "WP6. Quality Control and Monitoring." The university team successfully developed a work plan ensuring the success of the QUARTZ project. The work plan was enthusiastically received by partner universities and recommended for implementation.Furthermore, within the framework of the seminar, the tasks set for the teams of partner universities were thoroughly analyzed, corresponding changes and additions were made based on the suggestions and recommendations provided by the university team, and final conclusions were given to the partners regarding the project implementation stages.For your information: ERASMUS+ is a programme of the European Union supporting projects, cooperation, activities, and mobility in the fields of education, training, youth, and sports. It provides funding opportunities for cooperation between 33 European countries (Member States and associated countries) in all these areas.The university's participation in the project as a partner institution within the "QUARTZ" project of the ERASMUS+ programme is significant due to its increasing international attractiveness based on achievements made in the field of education and scientific research during its short-term activities. As part of the ERASMUS+ program project QUARTZ, the following universities are participating as partner institutions alongside our university: - Tashkent International University of Kyrgyzstan (Uzbekistan). - Central Asian University (Uzbekistan);      - Urgench branch of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named  after Muhammad al-Khorazmiy (Uzbekistan); - University of L'Aquila (Italy); - Varna University of Management (Bulgaria).

1-o‘rin “Ipak yo‘li” turizm va madaniy meros xalqaro universiteti 2-o‘rin Samarqand iqtisodiyot va servis instituti 3-o‘rin Veterinariya meditsinasi, chorvachilik va biotexnologiyalar universiteti   G‘oliblarga viloyat hokimi nomidan sertifikatlar hamda esdalik sovg‘alari topshirildi.

В целях реализации задач, обозначенных в Постановлении Президента Республики Узбекистан от 26.04.2023 г. № ПП-135 “О дополнительных мерах по ускоренному развитию туристского потенциала Республики, а также дальнейшему увеличению количества местных и иностранных туристов” правительством региона при сотрудничестве Международного университета туризма и культурного наследия «Шелковый путь» были организованы новые языковые курсы направленные на повышение квалификации работников сферы услуг и развитие навыков общения на английском языке.  В целях реализации задач, обозначенных в Постановлении Президента Республики Узбекистан от 26.04.2023 г. № ПП-135 “О дополнительных мерах по ускоренному развитию туристского потенциала Республики, а также дальнейшему увеличению количества местных и иностранных туристов” правительством региона при сотрудничестве Международного университета туризма и культурного наследия «Шелковый путь» были организованы новые языковые курсы направленные на повышение квалификации работников сферы услуг и развитие навыков общения на английском языке.  Согласно рекомендациям правительства области, в учебных курсах, проведенных в Ургутском филиале Самаркандского государственного университета, приняли участие сотрудники, работающие в сфере туризма и студенты вуза. В данном мероприятии, профессора и преподаватели Международного университета туризма и культурного наследия «Шелковый путь» предоставили свои доклады и рекомендации по более чем 10 направлениям, которые заключали в себе высококачественное обслуживание гостей, повышение привлекательности туристических объектов, горный туризм и агротуризм.

In order to implement the tasks outlined in Resolution No. PQ-135 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on "Additional measures for the rapid development of the country's tourism potential and increasing the number of local and foreign tourists," new language courses aimed at improving the qualifications of employees in the service sector and developing English communication skills have been organized through the cooperation of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the regional government.In order to implement the tasks outlined in Resolution No. PQ-135 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on "Additional measures for the rapid development of the country's tourism potential and increasing the number of local and foreign tourists," new language courses aimed at improving the qualifications of employees in the service sector and developing English communication skills have been organized through the cooperation of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the regional government.The training courses held at the Urgut branch of Samarkand State University involved employees working in the tourism sector and students from the university, according to the recommendations of the regional government. Professors and teachers from the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage provided their recommendations on over 10 topics, including exemplary service to guests, enhancing the attractiveness of tourist facilities, mountain tourism, and agricultural tourism.

Artem Klykov and Dilrabo Mardonova, teachers of our University, took part in the conference on "Hotel business: modern requirements and prospects" held on June 13 of this year in the "Trilliant Tashkent" hotel complex. The conference featured a wide range of presentations on the importance of the hotel business in tourism, the role of women in the industry and its future prospects.
