It is known that at present, an offline seminar on courses useful for scientific activities is organized at "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage". At the end of this seminar, it is planned to organize a seminar on "English for science" on May 3, 2024 to learn how to publish scientific articles in foreign journals. The opening ceremony of PhD program for foreigners was held within the framework of the memorandum on international cooperation signed with "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the Academy of Economics and Commerce of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization of China.

On April 26 of this year, 12 researchers from prestigious universities of the People's Republic of China were admitted to "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage on the basis of basic doctoral (PhD) and independent research (PhD) forms of higher education.

More than 80 prestigious delegations from a number of universities and government agencies in China attended the opening ceremony of the virtual PhD program and showed great interest in the program.

During the event, it was noted that in the framework of international cooperation, it is necessary to develop and expand the scope of the international doctoral program between the parties in the future to further improve its quality and coverage.

Professor Dilmurod Nasimov, First Vice Rector for Administrative Affairs of "Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage", Professor Tong Qian Zou, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation, Professor Tong Qian Zou and Zheng Shi, President of China-SCO Academy of Economics and Commerce, attended the opening ceremony and congratulated the researchers enrolled in the program. During the event, certificates were presented to the admitted researchers.

On May 1, 2024, the Women's Council of "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the Department of work with youth and organization of events of the university jointly organized a meeting on "The role of women scientists in the development of society" with the participation of female students of our university.

At the meeting, the chairwoman of the council of women M.Abbasova and the head of the department of work with youth and organization of events N.Abduvokhidova said that the opportunities and benefits created by our state for female students studying at the university serve to further increase their status in society.

On April 26 of this year, in order to promote cultural exchange and academic cooperation, a delegation consisting of the management of Shandong Vocational College of International Trade visited our university. During the dialog, such important issues as the development of joint curricula, the establishment of student exchange programs and academic cooperation projects were discussed. In addition, during the dialog, opinions were expressed on cooperation in establishing academic exchange to enrich students' knowledge.

On April 25 of the current year on the territory of the university was held a preventive event for female students on the occasion of "Student Safety Day" together with the staff of "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, tutors and an inspector of the criminal security service department at the Department of Internal Affairs of Samarkand region.

The officials who spoke at the event said that in our difficult times, if the Internet and social networks are used properly, harmful information is widely spread along with information, especially when there is an influx of materials that can inspire faith, weaken religion and lead a person to delusion. It was also said that some of our young people are knowing and unknowingly falling under the influence of certain extremist currents. Monitoring cameras in the university building, the time of entry and exit through the turnstiles, attendance were checked and monitored by responsible persons during the event.

Recently our university tutor Sabina Abbasova organized a musical instrument teaching club. Learning to play musical instruments first of all helps to develop emotional intelligence skills, work on hands, fingers and feet. This in turn improves young people's perception and analysis of what is happening to them, as well as their attention, memory and verbal abilities. In this circle, young students diligently learn to play our national songs on the musical instrument of piano, tune and sing their timbres of sound in vocal lessons.

The organized club serves to ensure that our young people spend their free time in a beneficial way, increasing their interest in the arts as well as developing their abilities.

On April 27-28 this year, a group of students of "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage visited historical monuments of Khiva in order to get acquainted with the rich tourism potential of Uzbekistan. 

During the trip, the students had a close look at the cultural and historical heritage and natural resources of Khiva city.

Public tourist trips organized by the university, along with the development of domestic tourism of our country, serve to significantly organize students' free time, increase the harmony of theory and practice.
